Today I had the YAG procedure done that went as Dr Fair explained on my initial visit. I was impressed with Dr Fair's friendly but professional manner. The whole staff: Tara, April, Miranda, and Daijah were all very friendly and professional. I was really impressed with how thorough April's exam was.

I went to Mittleman Eye to have my vision screened for cataracts. I made an appointment with Dr Mittleman but their office switched me to DrFair (no idea why???). So I saw Dr Fair and he seemed nice enough so I went with him. I attended many appointments before the surgery for measurements. Dr Fair told me I had an abnormality on my left retina. HE DID NOT, HOWEVER, TELL ME THAT THE ABNORMALITY WOULD PREVENT A SUCCESSFUL SURGERY. IF ANYTHING, I SEE WORSE NOW THAN I DID BEFORE THE SURGERY! I paid $4300 for the one eye (money down the drain!). I cancelled my right eye surgery! I saw another well respected eye surgeon for a second opinion. He said my right eye wasn’t even ready for surgery yet and he doubted the left one was either. Regarding the retina problem, he said it was Dr Fair’s failure to communicate the fact that the surgery would not work. I will never return to Mittleman Eye! I feel like I’m going blind!
