I scheduled as a new patient. They verified my insurance and gave me an apt. I show up to said appointment and they tell me they have record of the scheduler talking to me but they didn't write the apt down. They make me wait over 2 hours and then the doctor can not help me and does not even know the trimesters of pregnancy and the options I have. he recommended treatments that are not approved in pregnancy. This is a VERY POORLY RUN OFFICE.

August 1, 2021 a horseback riding accident led to a broken left thumb, in the joint, and a broken right clavicle near the shoulder. Glad I had my helmet on. I don't bounce so well at my age lol. Dr. Lekic performed the surgery on August 17th to "plate" the breaks. I have been very happy with both his medical knowledge and surgical skills as well as his evident concern for his patients. I see him again next week and will hopefully have the green light to begin formal therapy. Need to be able to grip the reins to get back on my horse. 🙂

I admit it, I am a relic of the past. I expect my doctors to treat me as an individual, to look me in the eye when they’re talking to me, to discuss my diagnosis with me, and to lay out treatment options. I don’t expect my doctors to be 40 minutes late, tell me one treatment option because they know best (though they didn’t listen to me), or spend less than 3 minutes discussing my diagnosis and treatment options. The former is what I expected, the latter is what I received during my visit at South Florida Orthopaedics. Time to find another doctor…and another clinic.

Yesterday I had a visit with Dr. Kam for my elbow. Very thorough. I would recommended him to everyone. The staff was very friendly and outgoing!

My husband had an issue that needed immediate attention so we went to the SFO Walk-In clinic in Tradition rather than going to an ER. We are so glad we did. From start to finish it was a pleasant experience. The medical team addressed his concerns and answered all of his questions and provided an easily understandable plan. The check-in staff was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend considering their facility as an alternative to an ER if you are having any orthopedic issues.

Highly recommend Dr. Jones. Knee appointment went smoothly, doctor was really patient and answered all of my questions. Will be returning for sure for any future needs.

The most unorganized when it comes to scheduling a surgery! Canceled my surgery for no reason , i get message after the fact that i was in office on friday (which i wasnt !) i was called by the same scheduler she left message to call back about scheduling surgery , i call back and i get "Sorry i was meaning to call another patient!" I specifically told the Drs office i cannot get surgery done after 1st of year and i was told not a problem ! Yea right! I have multiple orthopedic issues , i feel i was passed Dr to Dr got no where , then we finally get somewhere for some relief and this happens! I am totally disgusted with south florida orthopedics & sports medicine!!!! Dont think id recommend at all!

Dr. Connely performed surgery on my broken patella and severed patellar tendon. The entire experience from the ortho ER visit to the surgery & post surgery was outstanding. Dr. Connely gave me his full attention, didn’t make me feel rushed, and gave me the confidence I needed to move ahead with surgery. The staff was professional, reachable, and compassionate. I would highly recommend!

While searching for an orthopedic surgeon, we read many reviews. The best ones were always for SFO and Dr. Desman. My husband had a total knee replacement the first week of June and is now riding his bicycle again. Everything about this experience has been positive even during the pandemic. I do have to add that my husband was very diligent about doing his therapy and following the doctors orders and this has added to his success. If you have a knee problem, go see Dr. Desman, you will not be disappointed!
