Steven Dutcher's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Dutcher performed a cervical fusion after therapy did not help. I had suffered for 15 years or more and finally went to him for help. I am grateful to him for the kindness he showed me. His calm demeanor relaxed me instantly. He explains options and certainly did not rush to do surgery. I feel like a new person. THANK YOU and to your staff.

I was seeing Dr. Dutcher and dealing with HIS manager Andrea. She called me and asked me to come in an hour early, then they left me to rot for 3 hours so i left. I called a few weeks later as i was now referred to Dr. Catanzo for a different issue. I was told only Andrea could authorize that. I left her messages for three weeks and nothing happened. Finally she answered her phone and absolutely refused to let me see Dr. Catanzo amd insited i can only see Dr. Dutcher. I told her i would absolutely NOT see Dr. DUTCHER SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE OF HER and said i’d go elsewhere. I found a wonderful surgeon who treats me with respect. Elsewhere. Meanwhile today, weeks after, i get a registered letter from Dr. Dutcher saying HE would not see me as i was rude to the staff. Sorry buddy, i fired YOU weeks ago becuse they mistreated ME and you cost your Dr. Catanzo a patient. He tried to “punish” me for daring to stand up to Andrea’s abuse Meanwhile his office and specifically Andrea wasted my time, left me in great pain and refused me an appointment in a time of great need. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You are NOT gods. You get paid a lot of money to care for patients, not to torture them and leave them untreated looking for help elsewhere (thankfully doctors who CARE stepped in and helped me…elsewhere.) Here’s the kicker, not inly did they keep me waiting but would not allow me to use their bathroom because the one for patients was out of order, i was told to knock on doors to find someone willing to let me use theirs. Their neighbor’s office was outraged and told me they did indeed have another staff only bathroom at Dr. Dutchers. Final straw.

He listened, explained, quickly got me in to repair two fractures.

DR. STEVEN DUTCHER FIXES OTHER "GREEN" SURGEONS MISTAKES. HE HAS THE EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION TO FIGURE OUT WHATS WRONG AND THE ABILITY TO FIX IT. HE "SOLVED" MY NECK PAIN WHEN 17 PRIOR DOCTORS/SURGEONS/PAIN MGMT/P.T. COULD NOT PROPERLY DIAGNOSE OR TREAT.

I am soo very grateful to have been sent to Dr. Dutcher by my pain management dr., Dr. Deitrick!! I have all the faith in the world in both of these wonderful Drs. and am blessed that Dr. Dutcher has been able to help with the pain in my back. He is stuck with me as well as Dr. Deitrick!

I met Dr Dutcher over 10 yrs ago. I remember my first visit. After seeing so many drs and walking out in tears, Dr Dutcher literally calmed my heart when he said “I believe you” and he understood my symptoms. I was grateful to meet such a compassionate, caring dictor that actually listened. He is an excellent and gentle doctor. Highly recommend.

Terrible!!! I called 5 times and never received a response. I was in terrible pain and no one cared. I finally went int o the office and the receptionist said she would call back for an appointment. No such luck. This is DISGRACEFUL!! DR DUTCHER said to come back after four weeksfor a follow up after my Physical Therapy. Since then no one has responded. I will find a new doctor.

Went to Dr with problem of VP Shunt office was so nice and friendly till they did the surgery.Had problems after and then you can never speak to the Dr there big thing is go to the ER .They created big problems and now do not care!!!!!!!!! Would never reccomend them to anyone

Dr. Dutcher is hands down the best orthopedic surgeon! He is very knowledgeable, patient and a true gentleman. He takes the time to listen and also explain in a very detailed way so our family knew what to expect overtime with her recovery. After one year post surgery my 82 year old mother walks upright again and free of back pains. What’s even better is that she takes no more painkillers. I am so very thankful for his outstanding service and expertise. Also, his staff is very helpful and supportive.

as a general and plastic surgeon, i know something about surgery and expected outcomes. i had symptoms of ruptured lumbar disc. mri and dr dutched agreed , and he operated on me. went home later that day. had absolutely no post-op pain. not even 1 tylenol was required entire post-op period, and all symptoms gone. have remained symptom free now 9 mo post-op. great job. exceeded all expectations. great job. dr.c
