Dr Thompson and his staff did a great job. I was referred to Dr Thompson by my regular dentist to extract a cracked upper left rear molar which was painful when chewing. He confirmed that I needed an extraction, and offered to do it immediately or in a few days if I wanted to think it over and have full anesthesia in addition to novocaine. His office gave me a written cost estimate. I opted to have him do it immediately with just novocaine. I also opted to have a bone implant which would be needed if I wanted to have the empty spot filled with a future tooth implant. I was amazed with how quickly and easily he extracted the tooth. There was no pain. I was given detailed written and verbal post op instructions and prescriptions. After the novocaine wore off I had a moderate level of pain, but it was well controlled by a couple of doses of the prescribed oxycodone. After that I just took some Tylenol and ibuprofen for minor pain.

I am 75 years old and in all my years of having dental care, Travis Thompson and his staff are hands down at the top of the list. I would recommend Dr. Thompson to anyone. Simply the best experience for dental extractions.

Had a bunch of tooth extractions and implants placed with this doctor a few years ago - he’s amazing. Has great chair side manners and sense of humor. The back office staff are super helpful and nice, the front desk people are super busy. But as I went specifically to this doc it was ok.

Extracted a tooth and put in the post for an implant on the same visit. I questioned him on not going into the sinuses and he said it was fine. Now 2 years later and ongoing sinus issues I find out the implant is causing my sinus infection. Arrogant and careless describes dr. Thompson, beware!!!!!!!!!!!! Also the implant is crooked!!!!!! Dr. Thompson is excellent and his no nonsense approach may make others squirm but when its comes to my health and making decisions, I want the straight up hard facts and that's what he gives you. There are no guarantees in life nor in medical treatments but when you have a surgeon like Dr. Thompson, you are getting the best at what he does and that means the best chance of getting the best results.
