Let me start with the positive: He really does sit down and take his time with you so you don’t feel rushed. With that being said, be prepared to wait. Took almost four hours to be seen. I am giving him a one star because it took four hours to be seen just to be told to eat less and to only focus on what’s on the scale. No tests were ran, no blood-work, nothing. What bothered the most were his remarks & the smirk on his face the entire time. Felt like I was being mocked & made fun of my whole visit. Not sure why I didn’t just get up and walk out. I have medical conditions that, as an endocrinologist, he should be able to help me with. Extremely disappointed! Will not being going back.

Complete disregard for patients time. Waiting at least 2 HOURS with an appointment. They do not send prescriptions electronically. If THEY make a mistake on prescription, like putting wrong date of birth, you will have to go back for them to fix it if you want to get it done quickly. Doctor's notes, needed to get sensors provided by Medicare for patients with diabetes, don't get done the day of visit. You have to wait for the doctor to get around to them. They tell you, you have to wait. Everything is waiting. You get the feeling no one cares. You are forever held hostage to their own time schedule. Oh, and this doctor told a diabetic elderly patient that it's OK not to eat if she is not hungry. So if she eats once a day, that's fine.

Worst customer service, they never answer the phone. No recommended for someone with an emergency and it they answer they tell you to call back and press two, no even offer you to transfer the caĺl to the right person.

No respect for patient’s time. Simply not a good office. Doc is mediocre at best. For these reasons, I’m out forever. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else.

This is old school office, nada esta computarizado, Las medical assistant o receptionist no saben comunicarse en Ingles, El doctor todo lleva Los datos en una carpeta se les pide medicamentos algo nuevo Para la diabetis Como un sensor y lo quedan viendo Como que es eso... Bueno si quieren un buen endocrinologist quedensen ahi pero El staff no es profesional (Ingrid). Y la espera es de 5 horas minimo . They need a new upgrade staff members and filling system.

Simply the best endocrinologist in Miami. If you are interested in obtaining quality medical care Dr. Baquerizo is the right physician for you! The wait that some complain about is just a reflection of the time that he spends with each of his patients. Also, as many people say “doctor’s office are like restaurants, if the restaurant is full that means the food is good”. Nowadays is very difficult to find a provider with the right combination of : knowledge, experience, genuine care and dedication. He has great acumen when it comes to diagnosing and the treatment plans are on point. He is the kind that although he is seeing you for endocrinology, he would examine you with detail (which is none existing out there). Any abnormalities outside his scope, he points it out and directs the patients to the right care. In conclusion, props to Dr. Baquerizo for being an excellent professional!

Horrible experience. Old and dirty office full of crucifixes. Extremely rude staff. They made me wait 2 hours, so I left without seeing the doctor.

They don’t answer the phone ever, you reach voicemail, leave a message and they never get back to you. So why even bother? I been trying to make an appointment for my husband for the last two weeks and no one has returned the call.
