Mary Villar Zamora's Online Review Report Card

She's been my and my family's doctor for almost 20 years. I find her to be very knowledgable and quick to try and resolve issues. Punctuality is an issue, but because it's so consistant, I am always prepared to wait and I prefer to wait because I trust her as my doctor. The phone lines here are crazy as well, long wait times.

Retire please! She is grumpy & rude. Unprofessional and lacks listening skills & compassion. Appears angry & burt out. Disagrees with everything you suggest or ask. After consulting with 2 other doctors about a medical issue, was told the complete opposite to what Dr Zamora said. Happened too many times. Run away from her now!

Dr. Zamora has been an amazing doctor for me. She took me on as a patient knowing that I had a relatively rare and possibly complex condition. I feel like it is the first time I've actually had a real primary care physician in my 50+ years. She is extremely knowledgeable, very thorough, kind and great at organizing my care. Her office is exceptional and I've never been kept waiting, granted I always pick an early appointment time. I've on here that maybe punctuality isn't her strength, but I've had doctors who put punctuality ahead of patient care and it is not worth it. The fact that she spends the time needed to care for her patients means way more than anything else. It wasn't until I had a real health issue that I realized the importance of this. I consider myself extremely lucky to have Dr. Zamora as my doctor.

Dr Zamora is one of the best and most conscientious doctors i've ever known. She takes extra time to get to know her patients and manages to fit me in whenever I need to see her. Ive been particularly impressed with her willingness to follow up on test results. I feel most fortunate to have her as my family physician. Ive recommended her to some of my closest friends. Thank you, Dr. Zamora.

Don't bother arriving on time to your appointment because she is always late. Doesn't actually listen to your health concerns no matter how valid they may be. Last time I saw her I expressed that I was getting recurring yeast infections on a weekly basis to the point it was ruining my sex life and I suggested to her it may be my birth control that she prescribed me and asked if she could switch me to another brand. I walked out of there with an actual prescription for Vitamin D. Complete joke of a doctor, she should have retired a long time ago.

If you have the choice to go to someone else, please do. The staff at Trafalgar Medical Clinic are friendly and great, but Dr. Zamora dismisses your concerns as a patient. I never feel heard by her, I feel worse leaving an appointment than I did going into it. She is always ridiculously late to appointments and rushes you through it and does not take your concerns seriously. GO TO ANOTHER DOCTOR. FOR YOURSELF. No one deserves to be dismissed by their doctor.

Unbelievable Customer Service. I've been trying to reach Dr. Zamora for more than 30 minutes and have finally hung up! I'm being 'blackmailed' to have a yearly appointment in order to get my prescriptions renewed!! Telephone service is TERRIBLE. Again I've called the same number and have had no response. I'm now told to call back. B.S. Now another voice comes on and tells me that now I have to wait another 5 mins???

There should be a zero for punctuality, and she didn't prescribe what is typically prescribed to me by my dr and many other physicians at Trafalgar Medical. The staff are always very friendly and thorough no matter what. Advice: bring a book, a phone charger and don't arrive to your appointment on an empty tummy. My wait for a scheduled appointment was 50min

This woman should not be practicing anymore. She does not listen to any concerns and blames them on totally differently related situations. Prys for information that has nothing to do with your health. She's been with me since birth and cannot keep the relationship professional. Even though she's always late for the appointment, she still finds time to berate me! Please don't go to her unless you want to walk out feeling demeaned. Awful experiences started at my first memory of her. There are so many more doctors. Go to them.

Dr Zamora has been our family doctor since about 1992 when we moved to Oakville - she dealt with my husband dying of cancer and even came to our home when he was dying - she dealt with the issues with my 2 daughters - inclduing my oldest daughter's asthma, epilepsy, anxiety etc; my younger daughter's knee issue when she was skating. She was there for me when I had my hysterectomy. She dealt with my ex-partner's kidney stones and pre-diabetes - yes, she tends to be late - but she is better than the prevcious doctor who had a sign that said that if he was late it was because of his patients
