Wish there was a 0 star option. RUDE & CONDESCENDING! Why you would study to be in a profession that helps people when you hate them is beyond me. I guess it's all about $$$ for this poor excuse of a doctor. I feel terrible that people who are feeling low enough to have to go to the ER, have to be treated with someone who has no respect or empathy for his patients. Thank God, Dr. Mishkin took over. Night and day difference. The reviews online reflect exactly that.

We took our 89 year old mother to Baptist ER because she had all the symptoms of an internal bleed. Dr. Brazda came in with a major attitude. He disputed all her symptoms in such a condescending manner. Luckily, our mother is hard of hearing and was just not feeling well so the insults went over her head. He did not want to admit her into the hospital. Luckily, Dr. Morales (GI) stepped in and she was admitted. Everything improved greatly once she was out of Dr Brazda’s care!!! Dr. Morales located the source of the internal bleeding and cauterized the problem. No family should have to be subjected to a rude, gruff (not funny, even though he is impressed by his own foul humor) and insulting doctor. Especially in an ER. Dr Brazda’s poor bedside manner is not indicative of the excellent care our mother received once she was admitted.

Very rude Dr. Short on patience and explanations. Always in a hurry and makes no decisions, defers everything to others. Unfortunately in the ER you don’t get to choose.

Dr. Brazda is an excellent doctor. After going for weeks to different doctors, i ended up in the Emergency room. Making a tough decision, he helped when no could. Thank you Dr. Brazda

I really appreciated what he did for me my blood pressure was high not even close it way over 190 and this was my second time at the emergency room and no one took my blood pressure before, he saved me from a stroke or something worst than that thank you once more Dr Brazda people from New York are really nice

I first met Dr.Brazda in December of 2015, I had been having severe back pain and I ended up in Baptist Hospital Emergency. I had had episodes of this pain before and had been seen by one other MD, this first physician sent me home with muscle relaxers and pain medication. My first impression of Dr. Brazda was that he seemed to be in a hurry, he actually told me so, he had another patient to take care of. Dr. Brazda admitted me overnight and ordered some imaging the next day, Xray CT scan, and MRI, he hurried out of my room and I didn't see him again. My first impression was that he was not friendly and he seemed irritated by my symptoms. The next day, the imaging that he ordered revealed that I had advanced Cancer. Two years later, because of the medication I'm on, I ended up in Baptist Emergency again, I had some issues and was told by my Oncologist to seek medical attention. Dr. Brazda was again on duty, he was much friendlier this time and not in a hurry, I did not tell him the fact that he had been instrumental in my Cancer diagnosis, I hope he reads this, thank you Dr. Brazda.

Dr Brazda was the ER doctor at Baptist Hospital where I was taken for shortness of breath. I found him to be very rude, abrupt and in general just an angry, unhappy man. He should not be in the medical profession.

Went o to urgent care & after waiting 5 hours in a room only blood taken out Dr. Michael Thomas Brazada appeared. He had a million excuses to why he took so long and didn't CARE at all about my concern about what I was feeling. He was RUDE, SHORT ANSWERED, JERK, and definitely not a people person. I've never had a WORST experience than at Baptist. This doctor should not be in Baptist hospital where supposedly you get the best service. Dr.Michael Brazda when explaining my results was shor, not detailed and left still not knowing what exactly I had.... this Dr. has to leave that place!!!!! He should look into getting a degree in approaching and dealing with patients. I'm writing this review hopefully for baptist to be aware of this horrible careless doctor & hopefully gets removed from this hospital so no one else has to get treated the way they did.

Horrible Doctor! I went to the ER for chest pain, and he said my Symptoms where strange. Didn't do much, and discharged me. I ended up having to call 911 and being admitted into another hospital with fluid in my lungs. Stay away from this doctor!
