Experienced and professional and kind. After going to Cleveland clinic for two separate visits (unsuccessful ones) and being given the run around. Dr Romero identified my issue quickly, kindly and professionally and scheduled me for surgery without issue. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone looking for hernia surgery.

Not happy with their service. Spoke to two girls who were rude and laughing at my lack of knowledge on medical terms and not exactly knowing why I was referred to a surgeon. I simply went to a check-up with my primary. He took a look at me and did what he has to do and then let me know he was referring me to a specialist. I did not question my physician and just trusted him in that regard because I have a pre-existing condition. When I called, the first girl asked me what surgery I wanted (when I don't want surgery- i assume this would be a consultation with a surgeon). I let her know it was regarding a certain condition and she laughed and said "hold on, let me ask one of the girls because I've never heard of that before". I was placed on hold. Another lady picked up and asked me how could she help me. Her tone was aggressive. In the middle of trying to explain to the second lady, she cut me off and said "well we aren't taking any patients, only zoom". I said that was fine. She was very irritated with me and basically told me to call back when I know what kind of surgery I want to go in for. I was trying to explain to her that it is for a consultation referred by my physician. Overall, she rushed me off the phone, wouldn't let me speak, was aggressive, and just rude. I phoned a previous surgeon's office who practices the exact same specializations this office does and I had the opposite experience. It was pleasant and I explained the same thing to them as I did to these girls. The only reason I could not make an appointment is because they did not take my insurance. I did not take their names but I was already embarrassed and knew that this isn't a place i'd ever want to come to. It is unfortunate that the two girls who represent this office, made it look poor due to their lack of work ethic. Because of their attitudes, I don't know if I trust that the doctors attitude would be any better. Anyway, this is my experience and do hope that those girls are at least confronted and trained so that others who do go to this office have a pleasant, respectful, and safe experience.

The staff were amazing and very friendly and made me feel welcomed. I have no complaints everything was smooth and everyone was so nice. Dr. Romero was the sweetest and literally the best. Thank you for everything.

Got an emergency operation done by him and he was great. Saved my life. Very professional. His staff is great, friendly and always willing to help.

Excellent Surgeon and bedside manners for both patient and family members. Highly recommend him if you need a surgeon to repair a hernia.
