After several years of procrastinating, I decided to act on my need for hernia surgery. I’m very happy with my choice of Dr Larrauri and the Key West Surgical Center. Moreover, the entire staff is so helpful and kind. The waiting room time for office visits has been very efficient.

No,, no compassion, harsh, refuses to do anything but a complete mastectomy for a small lesion on my breast. Wants to send me home.. 50 mile drive after surgery..

Dr. Juan is an exceptional doctor who really and truly cares about his patients. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is through in his care and followup. I highly recommend him as a general surgeon.

Dr. Larrauri is a magnificent surgeon..Had to have part of my colon removed due to diverticulitis..Being a believer in God it was comforting that Dr. Larrauri and the surgical team supported me in prayer before surgery..I was up and walking with a large stomach incision 10 or more inches within 30 minutes of medications wearing off from surgery, this help to promote the intestines to start working..All thing went great under his care and other doctors care also. As I had to have hysterectomy at the same time. Dr. Walker a brilliant gynecologist did that. Dr Larrauri has excellent bedside manner and genuinely and very nice doctor /person. 5 stars is not enough! Martha Smith Florida Keys

Medically evac,d from cruise ship for emergency abdominal surgery. Larrauri discharged me without informing me and no pain medication. 10 inch incision prevents me from sitting for 5 hour flight to home in Phoenix. Very sad since rest of staff wonderful. larrauri lacks professional maturity and judgement. Avoid this doctor

I had an emergency appendectomy. He was very kind and answered all my questions, made me feel comfortable with what was happening. He made rounds in a timely manner and was prompt with discharge from the hospital. I recommend him highly.
