Really bad craftsmanship and knowledge- makes you sign a waiver you will not sue because his work is so shoddy. Wish i had done more research- had a 2 month stay in intensive care due to bleeding and infection from this "Dr"

I am a nurse practitioner and want to applaud Dr. Loessin’s Key West cosmetic surgery practice. My care by Dr. Loessin, Kay (medical assistant), and Destiny (front desk specialist) was exceptional, caring and comprehensive. My recovery was amazing, and the compassion exhibited by the Doctor and his incomparable staff, is unmatched. Any apprehensions I had about cosmetic surgery were allayed and alleviated by exceptional standard of care, and a high level of caring. On a scale of 5, Dr. Loessin and his staff deserve a 10.

From the moment of my first consultation to post op I was very well informed and taken care of! The office staff in Key West is caring and very professional and knowledgeable and always accessible! Dr Loessin explained my procedure in detail and listened to my wishes and expectations. Surgery was performed in our local hospital and the staff was phenomenal! Dr Loessin gave me a call that evening to make sure I was ok! Dr Loessin exceeded my expectations and I absolutely love love my results! He is a skilled and gifted surgeon who cares about his patients! I definitely highly recommend him to anyone and would not hesitate to go to him for any future needs!

I had a surgery 100 percent covered by insurance. They refuse to bill correctly and are attempting to keep $4,500 that I had to borrow and put into place before they would schedule me. The surgery was fine. He is aways running behind. I will not step food into the office and I will happily update this once I get my money back. Insurance contracts matter

IN MY OPINION the doctors work was fine. i have no complaints there. The office manager was mean to me and did not allow proper billing for my medically necessary procedure. Leaving me to have to fill out the paperwork, to obtain my money back. See, if it is covered by insurance, it shall not also be charged to the holder of the insurance. Once my insurance pays, then I have to submit to his office what he is allowed to bill in order to get any overcharge back. They refused to put me on the schedule without the money that I had to scrape together. Some of which has an interest rate that will go up. This is all so much stress and just a control thing where you will "not allow" the office billing person to bill properly? A snarky email about hospital billing, I found during a google search, the hospital billed correctly. Why would you force me to bill my 700 dollar plus a month insurance? Poor business practices? Make your own decision. Mine is based on my personal experience. On a side note Kay is a sweetheart and so is Julie. I chose to only do what was covered by health insurance so as not to confuse any issues. Apparently, it confused the office manager anyway. Of course make your own opinion. As long as you have a box of money, the office manager will be happy. However, lets say you fall and break your nose and cannot breathe correctly. That would be covered by health insurance at 100 percent, minus any co-pay. THIS is the type of issue I am dealing with. So my sons graduation present, better be sitting in an interest bearing account. I will update this review if anything changes. Which is super doubtful since the office manager sent me a friend request on social media!!! THIS REVIEW IS BASED 100 % ON MY EXPERIENCE! AS WITH ALL REVIEWS IT REMAINS AN OPINION. Beware if your procedure is covered by insurance. I had zero choice as my WBCs were rising every time we checked and a massive infection would have been a huge problem. He was the only surgeon that could perform the surgery and the pressure tactics of saying hurry up because someone else wants that date. We need "X" amount to secure you. I an pretty sure anyone that wanted surgery on April 8, got it. The doctor is fine financially. Why would you ever think not billing for a covered procedure is ok? Or that I would be forced to he deformed is a thing? It is not. I did jot need to he left deformed at age 55. So said my insurance company. MAKE YOUR OWN INFORMED DECISION.

I live in Daytona Beach FL and 2002 had my breast done by Dr Scott Loessin.am very happy with his work. I need work to be done again,but I only want him to do it.

Do NOT ever go here! EVER. Do not ever, ever, ever, use this doctor. Dr. Scott Loessin used to work at CG Cosmetic Surgery in Miami, Florida in 2016. At least 8 patients have died at the SAME location due to complications and infections after their plastic surgery. Please look up the article in the Miami Herald surrounding this doctor. (I'll also link the article if Yelp allows me to.) After the backlash, Dr. Scott Loessin then moved to Key West Institute. (Here is the link to the article: amp.miamiherald.com/news…) and is STILL operating on patients. Also, please note that CG Cosmetic Surgery has ties to an establishment previously known as Coral Gables Cosmetic Surgery. Records from the Florida Division of Corporations indicate that both companies -- CG Cosmetic Surgery and Coral Gables Cosmetic Surgery -- share the same owner: Guiribitey Cosmetic & Beauty Institute, Inc. State records list Jacobo J. Guirbitey as company director. If you're in need of a plastic surgeon, and if upon doing your research, you run into the names of Dr. Scott Loessin, if any clinics or surgery centers are operated by Jacobo J. Guirbitery or if you notice the name Dr. Jacob Freiman (who was another plastic surgeon who operated in the SAME clinic as Dr. Scott Loessin and who is responsible for another woman's death), please stay away and warn others.

He is a great plastic surgeon! I have had multiple procedures done; I highly recommend him.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr. Loessin is part of a team of doctors at CG cosmetics in Miami. I had a tummy tuck done and I’ll I’ve had are complications. Multiple infections, my incision opening up in various places, and not one call back from the doctors office. I’ve tried to leave multiple messages asking for a call back, even reached out on social media; no calls back. Do not recommend.
