List of Abdul Aziz's Reviews
I have gone to this doctor for a year and a half. I was referred by my PCP because they thought that I might have lupus but thank goodness it wasn't. I have been seen on a consistent basis and the medication is really helping for my diagnosis. I don't feel like I'll be on the medication long term but when needed, the medicine is adjusted and I am so thankful. A year and a half ago I could barely move and I'm a younger mom to 3 kids and that was just not going to be effective. Sometimes when I call, they are busy and I leave a voice-mail and they get back to me. I travel over a hour for my visits but it's worth it for the care that I get.
MUY BUEN SERVICIO
Have to keep an eye on their billing practices. They try to overcharge you.
Dr Aziz is a very knowledgeable and meticulous rheumatologist. He works with me and answer any question regarding my condition. He doesn’t hide the truth from me but he informs me in such a humane way I am able to understand my condition and treatment and lead a calm life. When I started visiting him I was using wheelchair, walker, cane, and anything I could find to lean on. Now with the treatment that he recommends for me along with the medication, I'm able to move about without those assistive devices. He helps me to get back a good quality of life. I’m very grateful to have found such a caring physician in Florida. Then again, he was trained in New York also. Thanks again Dr Aziz.! You’re the best in my book! I recommend you to my friends who were skeptical at first because I find you to be skillful at your craft. Carry on and keep on doing what you do best. The staff is not performing optimally and that turn me off sometimes. Calls are not answered and/ or returned in a timely manner. It can be frustrating sometimes when the patient is just trying to get a message to or some response from the doctor. Sometimes calls are answered many days after it was placed. Some members of staff are too complacent could use professional development sessions. Overall, the doctor is great and I have no complaints about him as a professional. Hover, he needs to train or change his office staff, some of them , at least.
Thyis Doctors office like to try to get you to pay them more than they are entitled to.
I had a appointment today. Which i set a month ago at least. Yesterday i got the call from them to confirm my appointment and i did. When i was there today they asked me to set another appointment for next month. They canceled the appointment. I had nothing to say because those people who was in the front are are totally useless. They are so unprofessional 👎👎👎
They do not return calls
While Dr Aziz seems personable his staff are incompetent. My mother made an appointment 2 months in advance to get a shot, confirmed appt 2 weeks reaffirming she was there for shot. Arrived and everyone was clueless & Dr didn’t have medicine on hand. Now we are scrambling and looks like her every 30 day shot will be 40 days. She even called other state Dr to have docs faxed to Aziz & after 3 subsequent calls to Aziz’s office got told fax machine was being work on and they would get fax till next day. Too bad they didn’t tell her that on 1st call.
Dr. Aziz is very knowledgeable, compassionate and is very thorough in explaining things. I have multiple diagnosis and he is very good about properly treating each one instead of a “one size fits all” approach. He is conservative in his approach to prescribing medications. He understands that much of what he treats are life long conditions. Starting at the most gentle and working up makes perfect sense if your system needs to process these meds through your kidneys and liver for the rest of your life. Yet, he is happy to make adjustments if needed. The office is nothing special, but I don’t care considering I’m there for his expertise, not the furnishings. The office staff could be better about returning phone calls. But I’ve had that at any office I’ve ever used, so I just expect to call more than once. Sad, but true. That’s my reason for 4 stars instead of 5.
I'm tired of calling and getting no answer. I need to make a follow up appointment and I can't get through. Maybe that's a sign saying to just give up on finding an answer. I was told I have early onset osteoarthritis, but that doesn't explain my muscle pain at all!! It hurts to be touched! I am sitting here almost in tears from pain. I drive over an hour to this doctor because it's the only one that accepts my insurance. I have never had an actual exam where he touched my skin to see where it hurts! I thought that after years of pain I would have some answers, I was wrong.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
