I have seen many psychiatrist specialists. Every treatment plan they tried for me felt like an incompetent shot in the dark. I have been on plenty of medications that never really worked for me. It was not until I was seen by Dr. Alcober that I started seeing results, and I truly believe it is because she is not only a competent doctor, but since the start, she has always taken her time with me. Thoroughly explained treatment plans, my conditions, secondary treatment methods if what I try does not work. I am baffled by some of these negative reviews about her. I am very happy with the care she provides.

Dr. Alcober really is a fantastic psychiatrist. She cares and listens. She has always done what is best for me and I trust she will continue to do so!! I know I am a handful but she handles me like a champ!! I highly recommend her whether you are a complex patient like me, or someone who just needs a little help to get through a hard time. Ms. Gwen , her right hand woman, and receptionist , is also a delightful blessing and has helped me through a few panic attacks as well.

Dr. Alcober is great psychiatrist. She takes her time for you and is not just about prescribing medicine. She listens to your input to come up with a plan together. I've been seeing her for 1.5 years. First visit took over 2 hours and her diagnose was spot on! Recommend highly.

Terrible. Don't trust her. The third visit she was unprofessional. She was asking me questions that has nothing to do with my case. I went there for help and treat me like I was lying to her.I felt helpless. There was another person with her in the office. She never presented that lady to me. I felt so humiliated in front of that lady. I don't want to see this doctor again.
