Dr. Mont J. Cartwright's Online Review Report Card

Dr Cartwright has been my doctor now for a little over a year and I think he is a great Dr. I had a few emergencies with my eyes and the office called me right back and made me an appointment right away. I believe that he wants to help everyone that’s why his office is so busy all the time. I highly recommend him.

There is no adequate parking, patients are overbooked and it usually takes 2 hours to be seen! Laser surgeries are done every 10 minutes on laser days and you never get more than 5 minutes with the doctor and he never wants to release your records to you!! YOU NEVER GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER OUT OF THIS DOCTOR AS TO YOUR EYE PROBLEM!! HIS PAT ANSWER IS YOU NEED A LASER TOUCHUP AND HE DOES MANY OF THESE !!!! MY LAST VISIT TOOK ME 4 HOURS TO BE SEEN BY THIS DOCTOR!!!! CDC GUIDFLINES ARE NOT FOLLOWED IN THIS OFFICE , NO COVID SPACING OF 6 FEET IS OBSERVED HERE!!! PEOPLE BRING THEIR WHOLE FAMILIES TO THEIR APPOINTMENTS AND THIS CAUSES A SEATING SHORTAGE !!!!! "COVID BREEDING GROUND" !!!!! WORST DOCTOR IN CENTRAL FLORIDA !!!!!!

Currently at the office. After waiting four months for an appointment, they called 2 days before to ask for me to make a change on my insurance app to show I didn't have any other insurance (DOL or OPL...something like that). Anyway, I did what they asked, and came to my appointment only to be told the verification of the change on the insurance may take 5 business days to update in their system and will have to either pay out of pocket ($ a bit over $200) or reschedule!!! I asked to speak to manager, whom the lady at the desk was speaking with on phone. Only to be told she was on lunch and not available. Either way, I was able to resolve the issue on my own by speaking to my insurance whom took care of the issue, right away, because 5 minutes later, the system had been updated! **However, the tech that took my son for preview (before seeing the doc), was really, really nice! I believe her name was GUILAINE...

In pain & no prescription to pharmacy. I WENT was seen by Dr Patel? Then Called Dr. Cartwright's 2twice after my appt/Dr. Patel. Thanks for No Prescription & Not Helping me. 3/21/2022 L. V.

He is arrogant, does not care what patient say or ask, does not explain anything.

Have been a patient for years!! The front desk has really deteriorated. From rude to confrontational to just disrespectful. Front desk Diane Sabrina and Jarlene should be in the unemployment line. They act like they are doing the patient a favor and feel entitled to yell at them and disrespect them. They went as far as to keep talking about me stating my full first and last name in front of all the other patients as I waited patiently in the other waiting room for the doctor.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I REPEAT, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. There are plenty of other doctors in the area that care about their patients. Waiting 3 hours for them to tell you the same thing a Wal-Mart optometrist did is a joke. Then on top of waiting 3 hours to be seen for 5 minutes, EVERY member of staff in this facility is extremely RUDE from office to nurses to the doctor.

Dr. Cartwright attended a seminar on the date of my appointment without notifying any of his patients. There were a lot of upset people in the office when we arrived. Staff at the front desk tried saying they called, but after talking with multiple groups it was clear no one had heard anything from them (I certainly hadn't). I have waited over 3 months for this appointment only for the doctor to be a no show. They rescheduled me a month from now and because this appointment was to discuss test results, I dont have the option of finding a doctor that values my time. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
