Juan Varon's Online Review Report Card

I went yo see him last week & I am extremely impress with all the information he provided me. He and his personal nurse are really awesome. I believe I am in great hands now, Because he is very Knowledgeable & very Professional as well. TKS SO VERY MUCH DOC. VARON, YOU ARE A KEEPER!

I called the office today to see if they got my referral and to make an appointment. The receptionist that answered the phone was rude and uncaring. She asked for all this additional stuff that she needed for me to make an appointment. Mind you, she couldn’t make an appointment until November, that’s four months from now. She would not let me make an appointment. She has no business working in a doctor’s office. Dr. Juan Varon’s responses on here to patients’ problems with his staff is disingenuous. There are plenty of other endocrinologists to go to where the staff is nice and the doctor will care about his patients.

My apt was for 11 am. I got here 10:50am so they deside to change my appointment because i was late. Mind you i was looking for parking space for 10 min. I am a cancer patient. I also check and alot of the complaint is because of the same issue. Its not right to do this.

My mother’s appointment was set for 9am, and she got there at 8:59 when she received a call from the receptionist saying that her appointment was cancelled because she was late. She was literally in the parking lot and is wheelchair bound so my dad had to get her into the wheelchair. Instead the reception with a disgusting attitude told her that they can’t see her and if that the next availability is for May. My mother had to go in for refills and have a discussion about her recent cancer diagnosis and to see how that would affect her diabetes. Absolutely deplorable behavior. Anyone with staff that rude should not be working a job that deals with people. Thankfully she has already gotten a new doctor but please be aware how awful this office in treating their patients.

Polite and efficient staff. Dr saw me on time. Answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. Excellent care.

Para empezar pésimo servicio de las secretaría 👎🏻 son unas mal educadas y no tiene amor por lo que hacen , tenia una cita la cual espere 6 meses por ella y el día de mi cita cuando llegue no me atendieron por que tenía que estar media hora antes y ni me llamaron el día antes para dejarme saber eso tras mi frustración por lo sucedido sin ninguna misericordia alguna me ofrecieron una cita para 3 meses mas son unas groseras y sin amor hacia el paciente ya cuando las cosas empiezan mal son señales de qué hay no es no lo recomiendo para nada

I noticed his routine was always the same as if I was just a number. He was always quick to prescribe meds and not really care to look into the initial problem. Def not passionate with what he does. I was discharged as a patient without a warning just because I cancelled my appts a few times. My job at the time consisted of different start times due to being a limo driver. I’ve never experienced a doctor office being so uncaring and unsympathetic.

I would not recommend this Dr. My appointment time was 1240, they asked that I be there at 12:20. Most doctors offices ask you to arrive early. But it’s an ask not a requirement. I arrived at 12:43. When the receptionist finish checking me in at 12:44, she told me I was no longer allowed to be seen by the Dr. , that I was late. I just stood and looked at her. She told me the 1 o’clock appointment had already shown up and they put her in my room. So therefore I had to wait until the next available appointment which was 2 1/2 hours. At this point I realized she was serious and I told her there was no way I was waiting an additional 2 1/2 hours to see the doctor when I was only three minutes late. I had left work early and as in most of Central Florida had run into a little traffic. I needed to get back to work and could not wait in the waiting room for the additional time. She told me I could come back in two days and again responded I’ve already left work early once now you want me to leave work early again in two days. So at this point, I left the Dr.’s office. When I got to the parking lot I called and tried to speak to the nurse, to which I had to leave a voicemail. I never received a return phone call. The Third party appointments person gave me a January return date, three months out. Also what I Neglected to say at the beginning, is he canceled my first appointment and move me three months out for this appointment. So it was all right for him to cancel my initial appointment but not OK for me to show up three minutes Late.
