This pompous, arrogant man may be good for some people, but he is terrible for aging persons. My Mother in Law was treated poorly (and I mean that in a medical sense) by this doctor. He insulted the APRN, stating they don't know what they are doing. He pronounced diagnoses without testing, and was wrong. I would recommend avoiding this man if you are over 65 years of age and want comprehensive care based on science and not unsubstantiated pronouncements.

This man is NOT recommended for persons over 65. He makes unsubstantiated pronouncements and passes them off as diagnoses. We prefer science based diagnoses and will not subject our mother to this man again.

I am so heartbroken on how this doctor went about my case/ I have been diagnosed with SVT, for 2 years I have been in and out of the hospital and I finally ended up getting an ablation done on Feb this year, since then my heart has gotten worse, medicine isn’t working and I was scheduled for a 2nd ablation for this upcoming month September. I was again in the hospital for my heart palpitations, this past weekend. The nursesand other doctors within the hospital know me well now from the amount of times I end up in the ER. They informed me how my heart is too damaged and they will try to up my appointment instead of waiting for the 21st since this is a serious matter! But because of this doctor Kumar and his “professional opinion” he stated it’s a “non medical emergency “ I was discharged and was told to follow up with my PCP no new medication was prescribed just the regular medicine that obviously is not working. While speaking to me he kept looking out the window never acknowledged me

I was sent to Dr. Kumar by my general doctor . I was reluctant to go because I felt my doctor had over reacted. Dr. Kumar listened and recommended a number of tests that I was reluctant to take but did so anyway. The test were done quickly and in the follow up he did an excellent job of explaining findings with recommendations. His visits are very timely and he is very clear in his dialogue. Great bedside manners , knowledgeable , and experienced. I gained a lot of respect for him and his ability during my visits. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Kumar was OK. The practice is abysmal. I have been there 3 times but have only actually seen a doctor once. One visit I sat for over an hour until I couldn't wait any longer. No explanation! Third visit was for a stress test. Turns out they hadn't followed-up on the referral so no again. The best I can say is they are incompetent. If they don't care about your time, what are the chances they care about your heart?
