Very caring and interested in his patients.

He listens and also responds to patients as human being, not as an assembly line. He may come up with a new thought or idea for his patient, no pressure. I trust him and will try any medication changes or other. He is also smart, but is natural and doesn't think he is G _ _ _. Dr. Barrett is a humanitarian, with lots experience, using his knowledge in a sincere manner. I have been dealing with Cardiologists since 1997, I know the " difference. "

I saw Dr. Robert Barrett today. He is absolutely amazing. Was so kind. Did an EKG and blood pressure and listened to my heart. Went over my history. And cleared me for hip surgery hopefully in August. If I ever need a cardiologist again. I will gladly choose to see him. He is attentive and kind. I felt totally at ease. Best cardiologist I have ever been too by far. I happen to be a pain patient and he treated me so nice.And that is saying something now days for sure.I am completely happy and recommend him highly.

The DR's website lists Cigna HMO as an accepted Medicare Advantage insurer. Cigna shows Dr. Barrett as a member of their network of providers and my GP gave me a reference number to make an appointment. When I called to make an appointment I was told that" We don't accept Cigna HMO's only PPO's." Either Dr.Barrett's office or Cigna may be in violation of their contract?I had been a patient of Cardio Vascular Assoc. since 2006.

Dr. Barrett is fantastic. After my heart attack and two Strokes he placed two stents. His assistant Brett is wonderful as well. For Cardiac care, go see Dr Barrett.

I have been seeing this doctor or 4 years. Recently, had colon rectal surgery for cancer. After calling the office 21 times I finally got the call answered that was 9 weeks ago and to be told that I was no longer wanted there as a patient, no reason was given. My oncologist wanted me to have a complete heart check before chemo. Doctor Barrett is a great doctor, but blind to the staff bickering in front of patients and attitudes are bad, hostile attitudes over the phone and no one ever hardly answers the phones. You can be a great doctor but if your staff is sub par, your patients are not being cared for on many levels. Recently, I found a new cardiologist and his staff is very nice and answers the phones on the second or third ring. Barrett it could ring all day and my call record shows no pick up and I could post it if were available to do so.

CVA's in Kissimmee Fl is a group of excellent Cardio Dr's. I have been going there for 19 years, and do not have one bad thing to say about any Dr there. They have their days like everybody else. If you had to wait its because they are spending time with their patients. In 2015 i do believe if it wasn't for Dr Massey, Dr Mathias, and Dr Barrett in wouldn't be here today. Thanx to them working together and recommending Dr Christopher George for my heart surgeon things went great. And i know i can be a pain in the butt, and they still hung in there. Thanks to you all. worst office staff I have ever seen. Appts. are cancelled and they supposely "left a message on a recorder" that I never get. I'm home 24/7 except for occasional doctor appt. I have given them 3 phone numbers to call. Two are my daughters. They are so lazy they don't try again . If you try to talk to office manager, the prescription refill extension you always get a recorder. the only live person you can get to talk to is the appt. lady. when you leave a message for a return call, they never do. When you ask the appt. girl about no return call, " oh, they left a message on a recorder". My phone lets me know who called, guess what, the doctor's number is not there. Great doctor but terrible staff. A business is only as good as the management. I've complained to the doctor but he seems to do nothing about it.

I have been a patient of dr. Barrett for some time now. He basically saved my life twice already. After living in different states and being seen by different cardiologists, he is the only one that got my medication straight and my arrhythmia under control. I can never say thank you enough.

I have nothing but the best to say about Dr Barrett. I've been a patient of his and CVA for over 15 years.
