This negative review is not for the doctor but the next system. They switched to CareMax and it's been an atrocious experience. You cannot get in contact with the office, the call center has no record of me as a patient, insurance (UNITED HEALTHCARE???), call center is useless and has an attitude. I now have to look for a new doctor. Just ridiculous.
Customer service is terrible. I had to call five times to get a prescription called in and paperwork sent to my insurance company still not done. The call center needs better training on how to deal with calls plus they hang up on you if they don’t want to help you.
Moving to Caremax was one of the worst mistakes that could have ever happened to this wonderful little office. Can’t get a script, can’t get a call back, nothing. Can’t believe that after almost ten years I’m now having to find a new doctor.
Appears he has retired? Got no notice! Nothing! Prior to this I was extremely happy with him and his staff!
I've been going to this same doctor since I was in high school over 30 years ago, used to be a wonderful place, daughter was fantastic, too. Now it's beyond horrible. Can't get appointments, can't talk to the doctor, staff is terrible, scripts not getting to pharmacists in a timely manner. What makes this even worse, now they're merging into a group, so they sent a letter stating they can't refill certain scripts any longer and you have 1 month to find a new doctor. I received the letter almost 2 weeks after it was dated on the letterhead and mailed. What doctor's office that you know (that's worth a darn) is going to have openings for new patients in 3 weeks or less? Beyond disgusted with how this was handled. Really bad show, doc. Sure wish we were given a better heads up on this one. :-(
Dr. Politano is very thorough and listens to whatever is going on in your life, not just the physical side, but the mental side also. I think he is the best around
Dr. Politano and staff are polite and through. He listens all D responds to concerns of patient. Very knowledgeable of hood profession and eager to help parents stay healthy.
Dr. Politano and his staff have been wonderful for the past 15 years that I have been going to his office. I never feel rushed, or just another patient. He takes time to answer questions and offer advice on my health concerns. He is my wife's Dr. also. We always feel taken care of.
Our family DR for 13+ yrs----he's the BEST! Reminds me of our family DR when our family was growing up. He always takes the TIME to listen and then prescribes. He cares and it shows! After all these years my wife and I never once considered going elsewhere. Oh, we're over 80 healthy and active----- tks Dr Politano.
Been with Dr. Politano for over 20 years! Great doctor with great practices. Always has times for questions... never feel rushed or that you are just a number. Great staff/office/atmosphere. Dr. Tonya is also just as great as her dad! If you are looking for a REAL medical staff like it used to be years ago... look no further!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
