One of the best all around drs ever; answers every single question; truly cares about her patients in every way; always on time & doesn’t hurry thru ur appmt. Thankful for her!

She takes the patient history herself and in person and does a physical exam. She shows that she understands what you are saying and makes it clear she will try to get to the root of the problem.

Dr Upadaya is very thorough and patient. I've been going to her for many years to have my condition monitored. Appointments are on time with no long waits in waiting room or exam room.

Dr Upadya has been my pulmonary physician for several years. Educated at Yale University, I find her exceptionally competent. As an RN myself, I am in a good position to evaluate the quality of the medical care she provides. She sincerely cares about her patients and my visits with her are not rushed. She clearly explains my condition to me and fully answers any questions I have. Perhaps, most importantly, I see her, the MD, at every visit, not a PA or NP “mid-level provider”.

My husband and I have been patients for 5 years. in that time we have found her to be caring, listens to what you have to say and goes out of her way for her patients to help them.

I have read some of the google reviews of Dr. Upadya and I have been seeing her and her husband a Cardiologist for over a decade and the negative reviews about working for her 2 days and her being rude is unbelievable in my interactions with the staff that are always going above and beyond for the patients as these girls have calm cari g professional behavior and I feel the poor review was inaccurate because maybe you have to look within yourself and your ability to have the personality to work for a doctor who puts her patients above and beyond as well as her husband does ! As a retired RN I have worked with many doctors some who were difficult at times to the RNs but it was usually a high patient load , medical emergencies etc,,, and you have to be understanding and have a personality to not take anything personal ! Not every person is cut out to work within the medical field and I feel you may be that type of person . A 2 day work day does not complete any type review

Oh what a difference excellence makes! I have had pulmonologist with nice personality for years but my appointments were with his PA who got his information from the sales reps. You see Dr. Upadya each and every time, she had up to date information about the c-pap recall and a plan of action. A Yale med. graduate she was knowledgeable and caring. Personally ran down the info. needed during my visit to make an informed decision, no coming back or phone call etc. I was worried that my mask wasn't fitting properly. Dr. Upadya has a clinic once a month with 15 appointments to fit and check masks, nose pieces and machines. Truly, a patient centric office. You will be very happy with the change.

Dr Upadya is a very knowledgeable medical professional. She treats her patients like friends, not just patients. Very personable, takes time to explain and answers questions. She also takes in the big picture. Not just what “brings you into the office.” Very kind and trustworthy.
