Dr Catalano and his team could not have been better with my father and his treatment. They were kind, truthful and encouraging. Dr Catalano is the only one of his doctors who took the time to explain and go over test results even when my father was no longer receiving active treatment from his office. The only doctor who treated the family as part of the team. It was nice to have someone to depend on during this long process. Thank you

Dr. David Catalano is a very well credentialed radiation oncologist with very extensive experience. He takes the time to take the scary out of radiation treatment for cancer. Dr. Alison Calkins is also very well credentialed and very experienced. Between them, you will be in good hands, medically speaking. The staff is also excellent, welcoming, positive and caring about your outcome. They are aware of what you are dealing with and help you over some of the day-to-day issues that arise out of cancer care. All in all, it is a 5-star practice!

I was there for Radiation and EVERYONE In the office is great, very cheerful, and very compassionate. Dr. Catalano & Dr. Caulking are excellent. I highly recommend Intercommunity cancer center.

A truly horrible experience... when equipment issues caused delays in my treatment for thyroid cancer, Dr. Catalano should have referred me to another specialist, but instead he put me off and put me off and put me off, always saying it would just be a week or so. For 13 weeks I was off all thyroid meds. The result was terrible cramping of the muscles all over my body and fatigue that kept me bed ridden until I, on my own, went to another Dr. A doctor who couldn't believe what had been done to me. Thankfully, he rushed treatment and after 3 months finally I'm almost back to normal. I can only assume that Dr. Catalano kept me on the hook simply for the money... it certainly wasn't to provide the best care for his patient.

From the onset, Dr. Catalano and Dr. Holasek, and their staff were informative and professional. During the radiation treatments all of the staff were caring and professional. Every week I was seen by Dr. Holasek and she took the time to review my progress and listen to any concerns I might have. After the last treatment she explained what to expect during the next few weeks and set up a telehealth visit in a month since I would not be in the area during that time. I would not hesitate to recommend InterCommunity Cancer Center to anyone.

I cannot say enough about how pleased I have been at InterCommunity Cancer Center. I want to personally thank Dr. Catalano and Dr. Culkin and their wonderful staff for their excellent care during my course of treatment. I could not have had better care anywhere else from these great physicians. They’ve exhibited great compassion and concern as well as providing detailed explanations and information regarding treatment options and expectations. This is not an impersonal office. It has become almost like a family, not only with staff, but with other patients as well. Cancer treatment is at best disconcerting and at worst terrifying, but the entire office has a wonderful upbeat attitude that makes you feel that everything will be all right. Kudos to the staff. All I could say is if I were to "un-retire", this is the entire team that I would want and hire in a heartbeat. Thank you all. Dr. Stephen Crocker
