The best psychiatrist. I relocated overseas. So far I have not found a doctor as good as she is.

Ive been waiting since April 5th 2021 for a call back to make appointment. I sent her the records she requested confirmed with staff they were received. This person is not a reliable source for mental health care maybe she needs some herself to learn how not to cause more harm to patients asking for help by ignoring them. She is a disgraceful person not a health provider.

Ive been waiting for a call back from her since Apr 5th 2021. She is an incompetent irresponsible person. She doesnt take the needs of people seriously when requesting help. She should have her license revoked for misconduct and being irresponsible towards mental health patients. Very disappointing.

This person has had me waiting to be accepted into her practice since Apr 5th with no call from staff. I sent and they received the records the dr requested weeks ago. She is incompetent and dangerous to people waiting and asking her for help. If you dont get how calling people back and at least pretend to care is important you are not a health care provider you are an opportunist on the system. Pathetic excuse for a doctor. When i call staff has scripted response they havent heard from Joyce regarding my status. Irresponsible.

It took me a long time to finally seek help. Tiffany the receptionist is absolutely amazing She made me feel so comfortable. When I met Dr. Joyce I was so nervous not knowing how my appointment was going to go. I’ve never talked to someone about my problems other than my best friend and my SO. When I sat down in her office my fear completely left she made me feel so comfortable and let me cry out everything I had to say. She was so comforting and explained every feeling I was having and why. I learned so much in my visit she spent hours with me getting to know every detail of my life and my problems. I left there so confident in my treatment plan and was finally relieved that I was getting the help that I’ve needed for so long. She is so sweet and kind. She referred me to a therapist who I cannot wait to meet. And recommended 2 books for me to read. I immediately ordered them off amazon. I’ve began reading the first book and it is helping me learn how to cope with things so well. She is truely a great doctor. Yes appointments take a long time to get but there are limited psychiatrists and people don’t understand that. Be patient trust me the wait is so worth the outcome Going to Dr. Joyce was the best decision I’ve ever made when it came to my health

Great Knowledgeable Compasionate Dr.

She was dismissive and didn’t really care about having me as a patient.

Very disappointing when the Doctor has the receptionist ask you several vague questions over the phone then calls you back a few days later to tell you the Doctor will not be accepting you as a patient ......and this was after being told one week prior to the phone questionnaire that the first available appointment was four months away.

Dr Joyce was my doctor for almost 20 years until I relocated to Australia. She communicates very well and explains everything in details. When she prescribes medication she will make sure that you understand and warns you of the possible side effects. As far as I know Dr Joyce is the best psychiatrist I have ever come across. I am going back to the States by the end of May and for sure will schedule an appointment with her. She is the most ethical and honest doctor.
