Awesome experience having my Thyroid removed, and the surgery scares are not noticeable.

I saw Dr. Milstead for the first time last week. I found her to be very professional. She was very focused on issues at hand. She ordered a test, instructed me to to use netty pot and take an OTC drug. As I stated, this was my first visit so I do need to see how my issues are handled after the test results come in.

Had initial hearing appointment due to ear bleeding. Jennifer Pollard was very thorough and helpful in treating the problem. I was told to come back in a week to follow up. My copay was $35 for the first visit. For the five minute follow up I had to pay ANOTHER $35!!! Most of my other specialist visits do not charge for follow up. I was very upset about having to pay agsin!!!

One of the Receptionists is EXTREMELY Rude here! Talks to all Patients as if they are stupid, I do hope they hold classes on being Professional while being Kind.

Slow in getting treatment going caused my husband a lot of pain and problems. He ended up going to er and Shands.

Made an appointment and I asked which doctor I would see, thry gave me a name. Went in, that person was a PA, not a doctor, and cleaned out my ear by suction tube, which was painful and damaged my ear at least temporarily. Far as i could tell, there was no ear doctor there at the time. Never again. Sad to say, this is about the only ENT service in The Villages area. Even allowing for covid, this is not good.

My experience was excellent. I had been diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma a benign tumor in inner ear near ear drum on facial nerve which was effecting my equilibrium. Went to her for advice. I gave her my MRI she read it and then immediately gave me a hearing test and found my hearing was also affected. She then referred me to Shands head of neurosurgery who specializes in this and called him to get me in ASAP. She did her medical training at Shands and knew him to be excellent for this type of problem. So grateful for her compassion and quick action. God bless her.

After years of multiple GP Drs. telling me I had nothing wrong with my sinuses, I finally have relief. It was getting so bad I couldn't breathe out of one side of my nose. Dr. Milstead took one look and said "Book-em" for surgery that is. I can now sleep at night without snoring and waking up 20 times. Saved me from a CPAP machine. One surgery and I was fixed.

I thought she was very thorough. She found the problem with a few tests.

Dr. Milstead performed surgery and removed a growth inside my nose in 2017 that turned out to be cancer. She took excellent care of me and was extremely informative and caring. She took the time to explain what was going on and also made sure I had a referral to Shands afterward. I respect her professionalism and would certainly recommend her to anyone.
