Optical Outlets's Online Review Report Card

Very good service!!!

Started of well but tried numerous times within time to purchase eyewear but several personal working need more experience to what is needed for customer-not just to be sales people! Bad situations for me-Gave benefit of doubt with hope problems would be resolved-time to move on!

I'm very up set, how our appointment was canceled for being two minutes late, and was told by those at the from desk, that the eye doctor had canceled our appointment, because she needed to leave. What nonsense, why didn't she come out and tell us to our face. Then they insulted us, by brining a person of Latino decent to repeat to us what the front desk told us, that we needed to reschedule an appointment, like if we didn't understand English, shame on you Optical Outlet. Our father in law is 87 yrs young, as I explained, and for being a couple of minutes late, you cancel, doesn't make any sense because, she had to do the exam, and that takes time, and was going to be late for where ever she was going. I don't like to bring this up, but, don't these businesses know, what it takes as I explained, to dress, carefully bring them to the car, drive there, carefully take him out, only to be canceled. They asked me again, and said if we would like to schedule an appointment. I simply said no, there are plenty of other vision centers to give our business to, and the Latina replies, okay, and just walks away. I would suggest, as I saw many seniors there at the waiting room, if you need an eye exam for a senior of age, 80 or older get there 15 minutes earlier, or be subject to your appointment being cancel. It's not fair, when a business over books their appointments and make you wait for any amount of time, but will cancel your appointment for being 2 minutes late and that was how late we were because it just takes a little longer to bring in a 87 yr old into the clinic. The owner should be reading these reviews and making changes accordingly, because receiving these bad reviews will lead to loss business. I will be seeking an explanation of why my father in laws appointment was canceled for just 2 minutes, because the exam was going to take at least a 1/2 hour, and canceling because she had to leave was not an excuse. Don't go to this business for anything, they are rude and the doctor will not come out and tell you face to face, why she is canceling your appointment but leaves to her minions to do the dirty work...

Not very customer oriented. Checked in, told someone would be with me shortly- I looked at the frames, tv (Mr Margoo), watched staff disappear to the back rooms, waited and finally left 35 minutes later. No one, no one in the front of the store … just got aggravated and left. So, I can’t speak to the product, but the service just wasn’t there today (around 5pm).

Optometrist was very pleasant and quick. Sarah helped me pick out a great pair of glasses. Made sure they looked good on me and were right for the shape of my face. Thanks!

I went to Optical Outlets in Lady Lake with a problem and left feeling like the stars were back in alignment. My relative is in a nursing home half an hour away and her glasses broke. She had purchased them at Optical Outlets and was unable to get back to get them fixed NOR could she do without them if I took them for repair. Thanks to the enormous patience and understanding of Sarah, everything was straightened out for me and I left as a satisfied customer. I told her she was balm for my stressed out nerves.
