List of Thiruvallur E Vallabhan's Reviews
we were told he could do nothing for us, seeing someone else who knows what they are doing and we are going to have the heart grow a new artery, would not recommend this guy to anyone, horrible experience
I had 3 heart attacks......he took care of me, saved my life. I recommend him to anyone, he knows what hes doing.
Every time the Dr come in to see me at the hospital or when I go to his office, he works in making me comfortable and listen to my questions and answers me, for me, to understand.
Talked over me. 5 minute appointment. Does not answer questions , on phone several times in appointment.
I wis I could give 0 stars. My Doctor put in a referral in January 2022 because December I was hospitalized for having Ejection fraction of 30-35%. The hospital sent me a report showing all the labs as well as the other specialist. My pcp doctor referred me to Dr. Vallabhan. They didn’t call me so at the end of February I called and schedule. They scheduled me for 2 1/2 months out. I’m wearing a life vest. So my appointment came the staff was fine. As soon Dr. Vallabhan saw me he was rude. He was on his phone and said how can I help you. As soon as I started talking he was talking over me. Mind you I have my 20 year old son with me. He did this for about 5 minutes, looking at his phone and asking questions and speaking over me. I am a very passive person and my condition is serious. He was unprepared as well, not knowing anything about my case. He didn’t talk to me about my history as well. He was dismissive and I asked him to stop. I asked could he not speak over me while I’m talking. Dr. Vallabhan then tells me if I don’t want him doing that go find another doctor and to get out of his office. My son and I was confused. He had been rude and dismissive the entire time. I left immediately went to the car and cried. I’m wearing a life vest. In that moment he did not know the current state or condition of my heart. If you are your love one is scheduled or planning to schedule with this practice DON’T!! They made it so hard for my primary doctors office as well. This experience opened my eyes to see that not everyone in medicine means you well.
Vallabhan is a wonderful man and great dr. i would recommend him always.
SPOKE TO A PERSON IN THEIR OFFICE (Katie) IN AN ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE AN ISSUE WITH A PRE-AUTH FOR AN ECHO. FLORIDA BLUE TELLS ME THAT NO PRE-AUTH HAS BEEN REQUESTED AND GIVES UN A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL TO GET IT EXPEDITED. CALLED TO TELL DANIELLE AND SHE REFUSED TO TAKE THE NUMBER AND SAID THEY WOULD NOT CALL AND THAT HIS PRE AUTH WOULD NOT HAPPEN IN TIME FOR THE APPT. I SPOKE TO MY INSURANCE BROKER AND WAS TOLDS THAT THE OFFICE WAS VERY UNCOOPERATIVE BY BOTH DANIELLE AND A GENTLEMAN THAT THEY SPOKE TO THE DAY PRIOR. DANIELLE ACTED LIKE SHE COULDN'T HEAR ME ALL 4 TIMES THAT I CALLED, EVEN WHEN JUST ASKING FOR A FAX NUMBER AND CALLING FORM A DIFFERENT PHONE. I AM OUTRAGED AND WILL VISIT THEIR OFFICE SOON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That Dr. Vallabhan still has a license to practice medicine is an indictment of the Florida regulation of physicians. When I arrived in Florida in July of 2019, I was had symptoms of A-Fib, and had recently had an incident. Dr. Vallabhan prescribed, among other things 1,200 mg of Amiodarone per day (400 mg, 3 times per day), I later learned that was a dose to be prescribed only for a few days following an A-Fib incident and then closely montored by the prescribing physician. Dr. Vallabhan did no monitoring, and my health began to deteriorate dramatically. I didn't have enough energy to walk the short distance from car to my house without stopping to rest. I had balance problems and fell frequently, and was twice taken by ambulance to the Regional hospital. I was unable to safely drive a car and had to take a cab to appointments. in late September Dr. Vallabhan's told me that I had a weak heart and probably wouldn't live until Christmas and that I should consider "wrapping up my affairs." My life was saved by a Wallgreen's pharmacist I knew in my hometown. When he saw the amount of Amiodarone that I had been taking for three months, he told me I didn't have a heart problem, I was being poisoned by Dr. Vallabhan. When I confronted Dr. Vallabahn, he told me I needed to get another Cardiologist and gave me 30 days to do that. When I tried to get another Cardiologist, a group of practitioners in a nearby town they said that I needed to have my medical records and once they were received I'd be called with an appointment. I called Dr. Vallabhan's office and gave his staff, the name of the Cardiologists and their fax number. The records were not faxed and after nearly a month, I received phone messages from Dr. Vallabhan's staff saying that the Dr. needed the name of a specific physician before the records could be sent. The messages were taped by my service provider. I complied and supplied the name requested. When I discovered a month later that the records had still not been received, I was told, for the first time, that the records would not be sent until I supplied a signed consent form. If it was possible to give minus stars rating, that is what I would give.
We have been waiting 2 months for an appointment, and this is after I Personally drove the AUTHORIZATION paperwork to the office. My father has to have surgery next week and still no clearance from this Dr. Welp guess we will get a new Dr next week After said surgery. I can't prolong the surgery anymore
He is a great and understanding Dr. I highly recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
