Eduardo Bedoya's Online Review Report Card

DR Eduardo is a very good DR, however, his staff lacks the ability to provide service.

I have been recommending Dr Bedoya for years as I have a large Medicare based customer base. Had one complaint in the last 10 years. Wife and I go there as well. Dr Bedoya and staff are kind, considerate, and caring. Will keep recommending. My customers love them!!

The absolute worst experience at an eye doc to date. Don’t bother. The rudest office staff in Lake City. Just a little FYI, The receptionist was on the phone when walked in and was speaking in Spanish to a Spanish-speaking client. When she got off of the phone everyone heard her exclaim to the entire lobby “ if they come here from another country they need to know how to speak English“ and then decided to voice her political views to the lobby full of patients. Never have I experienced a more unprofessional setting. I will never return and encourage all of you to never go.

I have been to Dr. Bedoya twice now, completely happy with his professionalism. Great doctor. His front desk people are very polite but the office manager seems a little rough. Not a fan of chastising employees in front of clients. Again no problems with the doctor or his technicians. Both times 1 1/2 from time in door until time out. Not unreasonable at all.

If you like an unfriendly staff, and long extended wait times, then go see Dr. Bedoya. The Dr. seems good, but in several years, I have never had a wait, shorter than 45 minutes, after my appointment time, sometimes going well past an hour. Twice I have walked out, after an hour an 20 minutes. Now, my script for eye drops, has expired, and even though the script hasn't changes in 15 years, they won't call in another, and the soonest I can get in for another exam, is over a month out...then of course another hour plus when I get there. Save yourself the headaches, and find another eye doctor. I am doing exactly that today.

The Dr. himself is very good, but in several years, I have never waited less than 45 minutes to an hour, past my appt. time. I have walked out twice, after waiting over an hour, and if you do go to the desk and complain, they will take you in the back, and sit you there for another 45 minutes. Now, my prescription for eye drops has expired, and even though the script itself has not changed in over 15 years, they will not call in another, until I come back in for another exam, and that isn't for another month plus. I am actively looking for another eye Dr. Save yourself the headaches, go somewhere else.

Dr Bedoya is "the best". He is professional, personable, cautious, caring and above all an expert in his field. I would recommend him to anyone needing eye care.

Dr. Bedoya and his staff are top notch. Don’t waste your time looking for a doctor in Gainesville! I’ll never go anywhere else! Ever!

I give this place 0 stars!!!!! Office staff Extremely rude and unprofessional! Didn’t seem like they had a clue of what was going on in the office. Horrible experience! Nearly a three hour wait! Then asked to come back the next day! Think twice before going here! Be prepared to be there all day, and be treated like you are not wealthy of being in there office.......
