Dr. Alan S. Berns is the best mental health care professional that I have ever been to. He's extremely intelligent and I have always found him to be affordable and approachable, compassionate, and professional. He really takes the time to help patients. I've been to a lot of different Medical Doctors and no one compares to Dr. Alan S. Berns and his staff! He has helped me so much. He's made me feel at ease, and it has always been a good experience. Dr. Berns has treated my clinical depression disorder for over ten years. He has prescribed and monitored my medication so well that I have not suffered from depression under his care. He is a very astute listener and has accurately diagnosed and prescribed medication which has made my treatment successful. His staff is expert and proactive in solving any issues I might encounter regarding appointments, medication, refills, and billing. Dr. Berns will accept direct voicemail messages of a non-emergency nature. I highly recommend his practice.

Dr. Berns is THE BEST. I was recommended to see him from my therapist for some medical intervention for my anxiety and depression. He makes you comfortable and talks you through everything - not just your symptoms and diagnosis, but all the prescription options as well in such detail: how they work, what the possible side effects are, what to look out for, etc. It was very reassuring to understand how the medicine actually helps - the knowledge this man possesses is incredible. He keeps in contact and re-evaluates not only how you are reacting to the prescription but how your life is overall. His staff is wonderful and they work hard to get you whenever you need it despite being so busy. I never felt rushed, over-medicated, or confused about anything. Dr Berns and his staff are professional, compassionate and empathetic. Dr Berns genuinely cares about his patients, he never rushes a session to get to the next patient. He goes above and beyond to meet the needs of his patients! We need more physicians like Dr Alan Berns practicing! Definitely recommend Dr Berns! Regarding his staff, I have no problems scheduling/rescheduling an appointment and/or having my calls returned within a timely manner.

DR. BERNS IS an excellent doctor that truly cares about the welfare of his patients. He listens to your concerns, and acts according to your needs. I am very comfortable seeing him, unlike other doctors in this field that bore you, or get caught up in every little gesture or comment. He is honest, and shares his thoughts honestly. I am grateful to have him as my doctor!
