Anita Gupta's Online Review Report Card

Literally the worst doctors visit I have ever encountered. They tried to charge me $125 for a visit that did not require a deductible/copay. They gave me such a hard time at the front desk even after I got an insurance agent to speak to them about it. This is a business aimed at squeezing money out of people with no regard for them as patients or people. Dr. Anita Gupta is extremely rude and unprofessional and so is the rest of the staff there. As I'm sitting in the waiting room I could hear them yelling and arguing with each other about such and such. I was about ready to walk out and I should have, but I waited so long already and I really needed my prescription. They wanted to schedule me for a follow-up and I mentioned there is no chance I'm ever coming back here and I will be leaving a negative review... The NP laughs and responded "join the line" ... This office is a complete joke do no waste your time or money coming here.

I have seen ny mom struggling trying to get this doctor to approve her hormone patches. She is supposed to change them every 3 days and the DR only approves 4 at a time then takes over a month to approve the other set of 4 so this whole time my mom is without her patches suffering from so many different things. Its very unprofessional.

I have a serious issue with this office.. I have left florida due to lack of work beginning 2022. I notified in 2021 to the billing dept manager that i was unable to pay and she verbally agreed with me to hold on payments. I was more than 2 yrs unemployed and then had to leave florida as i could not afford living there any more. I have called several times but nobody pick up the phone... had been til recently at the border With nogales. When i can call you are already closed. When someone reached out in feb i said want to contact the office manager for and explanation why i was billed in 2022, and to set payment arrangement , she gave wrongful info and a fake yahoo email... i got that in the records. ... i have requested many times explanation of the bill after nov 2021 as i left florida around that time, but nobody has explained anything, they sporadically keep sending billings, and i need explanations now that am able to pay, besides. I would set up payment arrangements but i must first be sure these people are not a scam. I was victim of fraud by foreign residents (indosthan pakisthan uzbekisthan)sorry guys this is a fact not a racial bs, ... so i am very careful with emails. Specially when people provide wrongful or suspicious data. OK so I didn't read the reviews until I got to the office so I was a little bit nervous because I didn't really see any good reviews but the staff inside was very nice to me. I was not able to fill out the paperwork I needed ahead of time because the app did not have it, but they supplied it to me inside when I met with Dr. Anita she was very respectful professional and she did have a nurse practitioner with her which most doctors do nowadays I requested for a female and she was able to fulfill that request she was able to help me on my first visit with several issues that I had. I was not only astonished by surprise that she was not given me a hard time or trying to be difficult, which I have experienced with other doctors, I would definitely recommend this doctor and this is only my first visit. She was straight to the point and wanted me to start getting work done. I do have other appointments about four different ones but it is for my health. I will definitely be back

Dr. Gupta's Sunshine Clinic is a scam of a doctor's office. The registration staff are rude and unprofessional. In my 6 visits at this office, I have NEVER met Dr. Gupta even though they bill it as such. You meet with medical students and nurse practitioners that are very kind, but resort to blaming any medical problem on your weight. The furniture and medical equipment look like they were bought in a pawn shop or a sketchy goodwill 30 years ago. They have you use an online system to check in for appointments, but cant check when you message them and try to charge you for a missed appointment. While I do appreciate their ability to get people in quickly on a walk-in basis and their wide range of equipment to perform tests in office, I will not be returning to this office ever again and would not recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Anita Gupta she is not a good doctor. She has the worst people working in her office they don’t know anything. You come in for one thing then all of sudden this is wrong that wrong. She all about money. If you tell her you cant come in she asking you why you cant come in its not your why someone cant come in. She is a horrible doctor

It's fine if you don't mind being seen by amateurs. If you have any real issues you should definitely see a different doctor. There are a bunch of brand new staff people or at least they act brand new. I was told to come in many times for things that were not explained

A frustrating experience! I scheduled an appointment for annual check-up in September 2021 and they made me visit the clinic multiple times. First an establishment appointment, then you visit again for well-woman visit and then again for report review. All along you ask them, why do I need to visit so many times for a regular preventive check-up? They say that’s how our clinic works. What more? In spite of you clarifying that you want to be seen by Dr. Gupta, each time you visit, it’s a different nurse practitioner/assistant doctor who is seeing you, it’s like a lottery! The frustration of unrequired multiple visits, a new doctor every time and waiting times doesn’t end here. They send you bills for these unrequired visits and tests. In the whole process, they don’t inform the patient that this won’t be a part of annual check-up and you would receive separate bills. You go to the office manager to ask for an explanation, she says “I don’t want to argue with you.” She redirects you to another person in the billing department, he at least listens what you’ve to say. But all for no use. In a nutshell, a terrible experience and back and forth follow up on unreasonable bills. I hope they do something about this.

DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC OR DOCTOR. This practice is straight up scamming people!! I went in to establish with a primary care doctor but was also having issues at the time with my stomach. I left there with them telling me to take over the counter pepcid and a bunch of different appointments to do a physical, to get an ultrasound of my abdomen, to get an ultra sound of my pelvic, (Unnecessary appointments) and follow up appointments for all of those. I spoke with the nurse practitioner for the entire appointment until the very end where the doctor came in and said to make all these appointments and follow up. The actual doctor really didnt say anything but to make these appointments. Let me tell you that these people claimed the most ridiculous things to my insurance. They claimed we did an "alcohol misuse screening" for simply asking if i drink alcohol & same for tobacco and depression. The claimed a screening when all they did was ask do you drink? No. Do you smoke? No. Are you depressed? No. THESE are the kinds of doctors getting away with scamming their patients and getting more money in their pockets for doing LESS. I will never go here again and im only writing this so everyone else is aware of this garbage doctors office. No only do they rack up your insurance bill but they also charge $100 dollars for no shows on procedures but yet cant even call you back to confirm they cancelled your procedure. What a joke. These doctors need to RETIRE and find something better to do with their lives and stop scamming sick people. The world doesn't need doctors like this.
