Dr Shoukas is a wonderful Dr. He s very caring and listens to what you want or need. The ladies in his office are awesome. They great you and welcome you like family. I would definitely recommend Dr Shoukas. I’m so happy I found him.

I just want to say thanks to Dr James Shoukas and his team. They are amazing, caring and make you feel welcome, I am happy I choose to go with the Lake Mary Plastic surgery center .I do my research for almost two years on three cosmetic surgeons and Dr Shoukas was outstanding to me and am please, he did a great job on my breast augmentation surgery . I was scared when I decided to finally do this surgery because it was my first surgery but I was surprise how smooth everything goes and am very happy with my results. I would highly recommend Dr Shoukas to friends and family.

Unfortunately, my experience with trying to schedule a simple appointment turned unsuccessful. I have never experienced an office staff member so unwilling to assist. She stated that our insurance would be out of network which was false information. I even had the Fl Blue rep call and explain our Fl Blue policy was secondary to medicare. Medicare pays 80% and Fl Blue pays 20% and does not have any in or out of network requirements. She provided the FL blue rep with the automated number she called to enter the physician's provider number and tax ID. The rep informed her that the number she called was incorrect and she may have entered the numbers incorrectly. The rep then provided her with a number to reach someone on a live line and she refused to call. I hope no one else experiences the same service. It's as if she has a mental block with understanding the insurance which I thought was interesting that the office receptionist that answers the phone is also handling billing to insurance companies. The unfortunate part, I am trying to schedule an appointment as my husband was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma on his cheek and needs to be seen ASAP and Dr. Shoukas works had and hand with a cancer specialist that was also recommended. This IS NOT an elective plastic surgery procedure! Thanks a lot Lori for being so difficult!

I called to set an appointment for service and the front desk rudely explained that everyone in the office refuses to wear masks even when face to face privately with patients. They do not care enough to protect patients from airborne viruses like Covid 19, Flu and Bronchitis in a triple pandemic. Its a medical office with staff and a surgeon who refuses to mask up even when requested. RUDE RUDE RUDE

Almost 6 months post op and I still can't believe what I see when I look in the mirror!!! Dr Shoukas is a master of his craft and his hands should be bronzed. From the moment I stepped into the office and was greeted with a sweet frangrance, warm smiles and welcomes by, Robin, Lori and Emily, I knew I found where I needed to be. After debating and procrastinating for YEARS about getting a breast reduction I FINALLY decided it was time. After thorough research and seemingly endless phone calls Dr. Shoukas was the only choice for me. Being this my first surgery of any kind, he walked me through my options and exactly what to expect, and this put me at ease. He genuinely cares for his patients health and peace of mind. Thank you Doc for changing my life!!!!

Doctor Shoukas is a patient caring person. He explains everything, before he does a procedure. There are no surprises…. Since you know ahead what to expect. His office staff are courteous and respectful. I felt very welcomed and comfortable there.

Dr. Shoukas performed my tummy tuck and breast augmentation 3 months ago and I am so happy with my results! My stomach is very flat and I have a low scar. My breasts are perfect for my frame and the exact look I told Dr. Shoukas I wanted. I had 2 consultations with Dr. Shoukas before scheduling my surgery with him and at each consult he spent about an hour with me going over the procedures, making sure all of my questions were answered and that we were on the same page. The surgery and recovery went very smoothly and all post op care has been great! Dr. Shoukas and his staff have been great at answering all my questions since surgery and respond very quickly. I have felt like his only patient the entire time and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Dr. Shoukas!
