Best doctor ever!
Doctors are great and staff is friendly while there. But, to try to teach someone by phone is horrific. The message line leads you to a dead end. So, it’s best to select “appointments option” and many times that’s been a hit and miss. If, “returning calls” was mastered this place would be 5 💫 for sure.
Doctor was not prepared for my visit. He was rude, forced unnecessary pain to my arthritis, had extensive casual conversations in Spanish with his assistant (who spoke English) while I was getting the treatment. Also, did not send test results to my referring Orthopedic for over three weeks. Had to have my insurance company call and twist his arm to get it sent then. He caused me delay in getting treatment for a very painful problem. The office did not return many phone calls to me or my Orthopedic Doctors office. UNBELIEVABLE.
Visit with Dr. Ros-Escalante was excellent. However, there is nothing good to be said about his support staff. They wrote in my record that I had "tuberculosis" when in fact I never had that disease, but in fact have "tuberous sclerosis" I asked them to change my record more than once to no avail. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH THE FRONT DESK OR ANYONE ELSE BY PHONE AT THIS OFFICE!!! My mail order drug provider has been trying to reach them for days, and I have as well, in order to have them contact my mail order drug provider to clarifiy the medication order so that they can dispense the medication ordered by Dr. Ros-Escalante. After leaving 3 messages at different areas of this office NO ONE HAS YET TO CALL ME BACK OR EVEN MY MAIL ORDER DRUG PROVIDER!! EXTREMELY POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES AT THIS OFFICE!!
Excelente profesional, se toma su tiempo para chequear al paciente y explica de una manera muy clara que se entiende perfectamente.
Regret seeing this doctor. Was referred by primary. Very bad bed side manners, did procedures not needed for my condition, very unfprofessional. Felt very uncomfortable and traumatized.
I am extremely disappointed with this doctor and office practices. In two visits, I was in the waiting area 1 hour each visit and then another hour inside the doctors office. He provided no medical information at all. I regret recommending a close friend whom after 3 visits, chose to change neurologist! Very unprofessional in my opinion.
Cannot make an appointment if the phone is NEVER answered
Dr. Escalante really listens to his patients and is thorough in his examinations. He is personable and current in his field.
It's been reported that 80% of businesses fail not from lack of knowledge or performance, but from lack of business knowledge and failure to properly manage that business.. That is the situation i believe this health provider is in.. Good and thorough doctor BUT office staff doesn't answer phones and NEVER returns calls after say to leave a message.. I can provide my call log if you doubt that.. Waiting room is never very busy but patients appear to be booked 1.5 hours before you are seen.. I am unable to have a procedure done as recommended by dr.. Ros-escalante and have left messages for a month with his staff for what he recommends, but they don't answer or call me back. Good guy, good doctor if you can work past all of the negatives.. My health is deteriorating while waiting to know what he wants me to do about my situation. All bc of bad business practices. Enter at your own peril.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
