List of Raul A Rodas's Reviews
Dr Rodas took time and explained all options to help with my neck pain. We ultimately ended up doing a fusion and artificial disc. I highly recommend him. Great bedside manner and great office staff. You know he’s a great dr when the nurses in the hospital speak highly of his surgery, care and communication.
My husband and myself were very impressed. Explained everything in detail, spoke with a kind calm voice. Make us very comfortable. Front office girls were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
Love love love Dr. Rodas. He is so personable. My father has had a headache for 28 years and it started to get worse where he had to quit working. We saw Dr. Rodas and had surgery the next week. It was the first time my father woke up without any headaches. He truly helped my dad. If something was wrong or something was happening with my father I could easily text Dr. Rodas and he would respond quickly. He did not make me feel like a bother to him. My dad loves him. My dad doesn’t like anybody. If you need to see a neurosurgeon, don’t walk run to him. His office staff is also so sweet. I probably talked to Norma 10 times when my dad was scheduled for surgery and every single time she was so nice and sweet and helped me so much. Dr. Rodas and his office staff is by far the best office I have ever dealt with.
Thank you Dr. Rodas
Thank you Dr. Rodas for being the best surgeon
Dr rodas is most definitely your best choice when consulting with with neurosurgeon. I have been to multiple who barely even looked me in the eyes and spent maybe 5 min reviewing my case. You will not get that with Dr. Rodas he spent an hour going into depth about my condition and what my options are he remembered everything about me at my follow up visits and he recommended multiple options to me and then told me what he would have done if he were in my position. Dr Rodas and his staff Donna and Norma are like visiting family. I appreciate all they have done for me!
Dr Rodas is by far the most genuine supportive surgeon around. He takes his time with each patient and presents each surgical option with best intentions and honesty. I could not be more happy with my decision to have him as my neurosurgeon!
Dr. Rodas takes his time answering all of your questions. He makes you feel like you are his only patient. I feel it is very rare to find a surgeon like him today. I’m sure there are many wonderful doctors who work in the same area of expertise, but he’s intelligent, friendly and the staff is wonderful. I’m not sure how anyone could remotely give Dr. Rodas and the staff anything less than 5-stars!
My husband was a firefighter for almost 30 years and throughout his career he had constant lower back pain ranging from annoying to debilitating. He tried everything to ease his discomfort - purchased spinal devices, electro patches, spent thousands on chiropractic sessions - nothing worked for long and the pain always returned. In early 2021, during an exceptionally bad time (my husband couldn't hardly get out of bed due to his back pain), Dr. Rodas was referred to him. Dr. Rodas recommended that he have his L4/L5 disc removed, and a titanium disc inserted. The surgery was performed in April 2021 and the doctor told him it would be 8-10 months before all his soreness was gone and healing would be complete. It is now a year later, and this is the first time in our 35-year marriage that my husband has no lower back pain (no soreness, discomfort, nothing...) and can participate fully in all activities. My husband thanks Dr. Rodas every day for his expertise and skill and strongly recommends him; not only has he fixed my husband back but has become a family friend.
Truly a miracle! The injury to my spinal chord is quite old. I believe it occurred about 60 years ago in my youth. From my mid-40s and on I have suffered severe sciatic pain in both legs but primarily on the right side. In June of 2021, I had the most severe pain I ever experienced with this pain that I was sure I was a candidate for surgery to correct this problem. I found Dr. Rodas from a referral by my general practitioner. I had no idea what an osteopath neurosurgeon was but I was game. Dr. Rodas met me and spent all the time i needed to answer all my questions about the major surgery alternative of implanting a Sim Wave Simulator in my spinal column. Dr. Rodas sent me back to the radiologist to take extras as I flexed and extended my spine to make certain the vertebrae were stable. Fortunately they were and in August 2021 a permanent implant was placed in my spine and I have truly been able to manage my pain like nothing I have ever experienced before. I am an active old man (72) and the doctor and the clinicians worked with me to find ways to use the stimulator to allow me to do virtually every activity I enjoy doing such as yoga, biking, competitive sailboat racing and paddle boarding! The only activity I have been banned from continuing doing is sky diving. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to have found this great doctor and the device he so expertly placed in my body! The attached photo is my MRI just prior to the implant. The defect remains but the pain is no longer an issue.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
