Robert Love's Online Review Report Card

After 45 years in Medical practice and seeing the operation of many, many offices and staffs I can highly compliment Dr. Love’s personnel for their efficiency, expertise and patience. Dr. Love is very personable and knowledgeable. He took the time to go over his diagnosis and treatment plan. He patiently answered my innumerable question. Having recently moved to this area, I feel fortunate to have found this practice.

Dr. Love and his staff are always so pleasant and professional. I have been going there for over 10 years and have yet to have a bad experience.

Dr. Love talked me in to trying the new progressive lenses. His staff coached me on how to focus in the new glasses and stated that in order for the transition from single lense to progressives to be successful, I would have to leave them on for 2 weeks so my eyes could adjust and create muscle memory on where to look. I did as advised. 2 months later I am on the beach, looking at a distance, then reading a book app on my phone and journaling. So, ther were 3 different focal points. I then panicked for a moment and looked for my glasses, I couldn't find what pocket / bag I had put them in. Only to laugh at myself since they were on my face. It was then that I smiled and thought WOW my glasses felt so good I didn't even realize I was wearing them. I recommend Dr. Love and his staff as I felt they listened but also encouraged me to try something out of my comfort zone, based on their experience with success.

My eyes are very hard to treat due to many factors. Dr. Love spent several hours with infinite patience and wisdom to help me. He is competent, gentle, and treats you like you are the only patient that matters.

I went there first time. The Dr and his total staff were excellent. I was truly impressed with how they explained everything and the Dr spent as much time as needed to answer all my questions and results from all testing I had done. Never had such great service from and eye doctor. Highly recommend this practice.

This Dr is very arrogant, very impatient and does not hear out his patients. I went to him for my daughter's eye care. He gave us single focus lenses and my daughter complained about blurry vision when she sat in her class away from the white board. We returned to the dr and mentioned about it. He still gave the same number lenses. After trying that, we again went back and also enquired about multi focal lenses with the assistant. When Dr. Love came in, he looked irritated and didn't even let us speak. He kept on going that how we are creating problems and that does not exist. He sounded so ridiculous and I was wondering how he is still doing business. If you don't want a good and friendly doctor then definitely go to Dr. Love at lake Mary Eye Care.

Another yearly exam completed and as usual Dr Love and his staff were professional and friendly. A pleasure to visit.

Dr Love and his staff have been very friendly and helpful. Can see much better with the new contact lenses and glasses he prescribed.

Spoke with (April???) regarding scheduling an appt. She said I needed a referral. Explained my insurance doesn't require them. I called my insurance co. and it was confirmed no referral needed. I made a 2nd call and gave her the info. from my insurance co. She said if the dr. found a medical problem during the exam they couldn't file it with my insurance co., that is why the referral is needed. Once again I told her they don't require a referral. She wasn't "hearing" me. Unfortunately she cost Dr. Love a new patient. I had heard good things about him. He needs to speak to his employee.

Dr Love and his staff are AWESOME! I’m a fairly new patient. I first visited him in October 2020. His eye exams are very thorough and professional and I like that! The office staff is very professional and friendly. I had an emergency visit today due to my allergies and they fit me in immediately! I will be making appoints for my family as well.
