She is a outstanding Dr I will recommend her to anyone.

Dr Amber Shepard herself is really attentive, I have no complains, the lady at the front who seems to be from the Caribbean is also very nice and welcoming as well as the blond lady in the back however there is another lady there, could be a medical assistant or nurse, not sure, but she is very short and bitter, speaks to me as if I was inconveniencing her for even being there, she tries to make an issue just about anything, I hope to God I never have to deal with her again, if you go there you will know exactly who I am talking about. This place would get 100 from me if it weren’t for that woman.

LGBTQ FRIENDLY.... I a transgender female and this Dr. And her staff have history of more than a yr. Maybe 3yrs?.....of treating me very well in all regards . ESPECIALLY remembering my pronouns. She's a great doctor and I will be staying with her practice for a long time! Highly recommend her!

I am very happy with my decision to make Dr.Shepard the primary care physician for all of my children. My children felt comfortable with her. She even inspired my daughter to become a doctor when she grows up. She is attentive to their needs. One of my sons plays sports, and often gets hurt. Dr.Shepard made sure she thoroughly examined him first, and referred us to the best specialist to meet his needs.

DO NOT SEE. Unprofessional and doesn’t listen to your needs. I was trying to explain to her how bad my symptoms had been. She basically said she didn't believe me? She claimed I was being disrespectful when I tried to explain my symptoms to her again so she understood, I only needed to receive my medicines from her until I could get referrals and get into actual specialists. She goes on to say she "can't do anything for me" I was confused about it at first and asked "why?" After I said I wanted an explanation on why she wouldn't refill the medicines temporarily, She than said in a condescending voice that she won’t deal with people “like me”? I wasn’t upset in the appointment I was just shocked she didn’t seem to care or even try to stay neutral at all. Then genuinely confused when she claimed I was cursing at her? I asked if she could at least refill an acne medication I had been using to manage it until I could see a dermatologist/a new therapist with a referral. After she refused to refill the medication I have been on for years because "she doesn't believe in that" I continued to let her speak and then try to explain myself to her and she kept getting more upset. She became hostile so quickly I didn't even know what had happened until she just walked out mid conversation! She left me in the room for 40minutes until I walked out and demanded to see someone so I could leave. I then made another appointment in another office to not see her , to get a call saying she won’t give me a referral to see an actual doctor who could help me with my panic attacks/ my acne medication. she’s the worst MD I’ve ever seen!!

Unprofessional, rude, condescending, nasty attitude…should I say more? This doctor seems entitled and talks to patients in a mean tone if she doesn’t hear what she wants to hear! Amazed how she gets away with that and especially telling patients it’s best if they don’t come back?! Never have I encountered that and I’m in healthcare.

I love Dr Shepard! She always takes time to fully understand and help!

Listens to me, easy to make appointments with, and tries to get me the help and referrals I need.
