List of Boris Nunez's Reviews
I fired doctor nunez. He kept ordering test after test with zero commedication I asked him questions he wouldn't answer me. Now currently I'm having an issue getting an appeal done about a test He ordered he's the only one who can tell them what the medical necessity for that test is. Communication is key!!
Excellent dr he has a lot of experience and knowledge is my mother's cardiologist also mine
Let me start by saying that staff treated me very nicely but towards the end of the day it does not matter if the doctor is rude and just doesn’t care. Very sad that it only took 2 visits seeing him to decide that this doctor has no interest in helping me. Let me sum it up. First visit very blunt straight forward order some testing which require 4 visits to complete. I had an emergency ER visit and wanted to follow up with him but since hospital couldn’t find anything he was in no interest in trying to figure out what it was and that is exactly what he said “ I just don’t know what is causing your pain” since the 2 tests they did there were ok as well he was not interested in any further tests (which I was confuse since this was a new pain, not the high heart rate I experience from time to time) and even suggested a beta blocker but didn’t even care to explain to me what it was. Anyhow I do have ptsd with meds and he did not seem in no way concern and proceeded to say that I should just drink the meds. Look, if it was that easy then it would not be called ptsd which clearly he does not understand. Anyhow still needed 2 more test and he proceeded to say that he would see me in a year. As a patient being in pain and just to be told see you next year is unacceptable. Even the lady in the front was confuse since she seen I had not finished my testings but I just told her to not worry about it I will not be coming back. He is not caring and when I started to cry he in no way was compassionate to assure me or ry to ease my mind by telling me we will try to figure this out. Anyhow he caters to elderly people so I think that is the reason for his tone that seems to be yelling but I am 34 years old with no issues of hearing and I felted I was a school kid being yelled at. I even felted intimidated at times because of how loud his tone was. If you are young and dealing with any long covid stuff avoid this doctor. If you are a doctor please take some time and make your patients feel valuable. ER sends me to my cardiologist and cardiologist sends me home still in pain until next year, well there’s clearly something wrong.
I waited six weeks to get into this doctor I should’ve checked the reviews but because my primary referred me I trusted and made the appointment, it turned out to be a total and complete waste of time. He ordered a heart monitor for 24 hours what is that going show went to another Cardiologist a week later because I got in very quickly with their office and they’re putting a heart monitor on for four weeks that makes more sense sometimes I go A couple weeks before I have heart fluttering, I told the Dr Nunez this and I guess he didn’t either listen or he didn’t care what I had to say because he never looked up from the computer I tried to show him where I was feeling the fluttering he never looked at me when I was trying to explain to him where I was feeling the pain and the fluttering both in two different locations he never look up from his computer he never introduced himself to me he came to the door walked right straight to his computer never acknowledged me as a person just said “this is my first time seeing you?” as he walked right past me. sitting in his office he made me feel like just another time slot in his day.. He ordered some tests that only the front desk told me about The Dr. could not even take the time to explained to me what the test were for what he was looking for and then when I questioned the girl at desk trying set 4 different appointments one for each test which seemed overwhelming, at that point I was Very aggravated this office was extremely rude and was offended by my questions. our time is nothing to this office they do not mind wasting our time that’s very obvious. Funny how they will drop you as a patient if you do not conform I should’ve read the reviews before I ever made the appointment because I never would have the reviews I’ve read after I left their office was exactly what I experience that day during my visit. I am glad to see that some people less than others have had good experiences but the majority of the reviews I’ve read have had the same experience as I did. All an all am a very glad I went with my gut instinct and called another cardiologist in Lake Wales totally different experience and I do believe that am now in very good hands
Listen, I have read through the other reviews and such and let's just get one thing in. When calling the office please everyone please press 0 when prompted to and you will always 99% of the time get a someone on the line never once had I had an issue reaching someone there to ask a question or Male an appointment. 2 the doc Is a very stright forward guy no coddling no nothing and I appreciate that from him give it to me straight. He's been good with me and I intend to keep seeing him as I need to as my cardiologist.
He sees my Mother and is very thorough and explains things well. It can be difficult to reach the office and it usually takes some time before an appointment is available.
Had an appointment to see Dr. Nunez but ended up in the hospital. I called several times to reschedule and each time got their voicemail and had to leave a message to return my call (left message with my name and phone number to return my call regarding rescheduling my appointment). Called and left several messages to return my call. Got a letter in the mail saying he is withdrawing from seeing me as a patient. I called back, had to leave another voicemail and this time someone actually called me back. She stated the doctor is withdrawing because they attempted to contact me to reschedule and could not get ahold of me. They had an old phone number, I gave them my new phone number when I scheduled and when I called and left a voicemail several times to reschedule and they still blame me and wont see me.
Put on hold for 15 minutes. Called back and no one is picking up the phone after 10 minutes of waiting. I had a simple question as to confirm the time and day of my father’s appointment. I understand being busy, but an update of knowing if I’m still going to be assisted would be nice. Do better. Seriously.
Although he usually runs behind and you should bring a book. This doctor actually sits with you for 30 min at first visit to LISTEN to the questions and your answers. He is thorough in getting all tests scheduled and making sure he can rule things out instead of guessing. I left the office confident that this doctor cares about his patients and I believe he will truly confirm my health
I went to this doctor and all seem good and just because i missed a follow up appointment i was dismissed as a patient from this office. That is the stupidest thing i ever heard a Doctor dismissing u for a missed appointment like im just sitting home watching tv all day.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
