She wants you to book every six months with her but when you leave the office you can’t book yet you have to wait many months to book. Then I booked my appointment and three times within the past year and a half. She has canceled the appointment. But it’s next to impossible to rebook with her. The staff is extremely rude and unpleasant and unhelpful.

I have try to make appointment any dates available while the receptionist on the phone ask me to put hold first then she will return to me, while I waited on the phone about 5mins then she hung up. So I thought May be that was by mistaked but it were not , because I have try to call it again & again then it’s hung up again by a different receptionist repeated while they ask me to put on hold, but it repeated it hung up the phone. It is very rude and very bad services, and for the services to wait long period of months to have a dates appointment. And I was liked this Dr. but it’s very sad the way the front desk receptionist answers phone call so badly 👎

AFTER doing a ton of bloodwork that cost a pretty penny, I go to my follow up. It was cancelled, but they didn't tell me. Rescheduled... That was cancelled an no explanation, no new appointment, no new doctor. VERY frustrated. Maybe for the better... I think she has a standard set of drugs she likes to prescribe or favorite "lecture" to give. If you have an estrogen driven disease and aren't for HRT, may not have been a good choice anyway.

Dr. H. was very nice but practice is too busy. Took me months to get an appt as a new patient. Then another 3 months for an return appt to review my lab results which I still don’t have after 4 weeks. No phone call telling me my annual pap results…nothing. The doctor was in a complete rush. Never had such a fast annual GYN exam. Didn’t even feel like I had a valid exam. Terrible experience. Feel like I need to find another new OB/GYN to get a real annual exam. Going through menopause so I had a lot of questions. Doctor was in a complete rush the whole time. I walked out of the appt feeling like I didn’t even know what just happened.

Dr. H is very knowledgeable, kind, and effective. She took the time to speak with me at length about an issue that I have had for over 2 years now. 3 other doctors dismissed me, as so many do when you are a women in your forties. They don't investigate and just tell you that you are getting older, deal with it. She is an expert in hormones impacting women's health and is assisting me in getting back to feeling normal again. We even have a plan set up for follow up for months from now AND a back up plan ready to execute should this first one not be effective enough for me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hakkarainen for about 3 years on both the OBGYN and functional side. I recently needed my hormone levels checked and made an appointment for blood work that was cancelled and rescheduled 2 times, both on the day of the appointment. I finally had the blood draw and scheduled an appointment for a consult. The appointment was confirmed and payment was given, only to have a phone call a few hours later cancelling this appointment as well. It has now been 4 weeks since the initial appointment was made for the blood draw. I've never been treated so disrespectfully as a patient. It seems to me that her staff is disorganized and that little consideration is given for patient's time, schedule, or symptoms (which in my case have grown miserable). I am leaving her practice and am offering one star to her and her staff. Buyer Beware.

I do like the doctor very much and I like the practice. But they have to get organized. There are never enough people to pick up the phones. Everyone’s always running around. They hang up on you when you call you can’t get an appointment for months and months. So either find more staff or take on fewer patients for some ease.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Hakkarainen! She is amazing. She truly has changed my life and highly recommend her. Her RN manager, Cynthia, is also terrific!! 10 stars....

Dr H is a very caring and responsive and professional gynecologist. She always follows up in a timely manner. I couldn’t ask for better care. Her office staff is wonderful. Carla recently assisted me to be squeezed in, although Dr. H’s schedule is so busy. I appreciated it so much, as I hadn’t been seen in a few years. This is a great practice. Would highly recommend!
