Mary Scanlon's Online Review Report Card

This is the first dr I have been to that genuinely cares. She listens and does everything to help you.

My wife made an appointment on Monday, we have been going to her for over 3 years. She was put on hold for 18 minutes and told a date, a day, and a time, to be that same week two days later. When checking in at front deck they couldn't find her file. They shifted to paper work for a change of address. She quickly told them that we had the same address for 40 years. Come to find out, they claimed she had the wrong day. The mistake might could be justified, however the Doctor has put both our appointments off, for almost three months. I do not have any problem with the Doctor herself and her ability, just her staff and there training.

Simon and Scanlon are awesome providers. The front desk is horrible. Rude, unprofessional and non experienced. Carol in particular could not check to verify my information that is sitting on a fax machine that is to her right regarding me having covid. The front desk area is small “I don’t have time to look”.

Dr. Mary Scanlon is kind, caring, and compassionate. When my previous long time Dr retired I went through many doctors before getting referred to her by a friend. Best referral I have ever received. Her office does not except all insurance which is negative, and sometimes you get poor service by the office staff over the phone depending on who you speak with. However weather having to pay out of pocket full price for the visit or if your insurance is accepted her patient care is the best you will find anywhere and it is well worth your money. Any issues you may find to see such an amazing and truly caring Dr./GP. especially in South Florida is well worth the care you receive.I have been a patient for many years now traveling all the way from Fort Lauderdale to the Lake Worth Office to use her services so that should say a lot about her as a Dr.. If you advise Dr. Scanlon of any office issues with her staff she will not stand for it and addresses the staff to resolve the problem immediately for all future patients and visits(she puts her patients first). She loves her practice and patience and truly cares which is amazing. I wish all Doctors were like her as she is a rare one and truly appreciated!Fantastic service and well worth any money or wait time you may experience. I cannot say any more good things about the doctor as she is fantastic and extremely attentive when it comes to your medical needs and medical history so you are truly taken care of in the present and for your future healthcare.

Dr.Mary Scanlon is the most compassionate and respectful doctor on the planet. There is no judgement or shame in seeing her for “follow up” outpatient care. She has always been an angel to me from the very first moment I met her. Anyway if you are seeking treatment with an excellent physician please do not hesitate to call. She’s simply the best I have ever experienced I can honestly say I enjoy seeing her and chatting during our appointment. She’s a lovely human being as well as a brilliant doctor.. Bless her for existing. This type of kind treatment is not always present at medical facilities. By the way her staff is top notch as well. So friendly abs helpful. It’s a win win all the way around!!

Dr Scanlon is a very compassionate, caring, and an actual listener. She doesn't use computers and everything is written on actual paper because she feels like she will not get quality time with you as her patient. Dr Scanlon will fight for you to the ends of the earth and will do it with a smile on her face as she's killing them with kindness. I highly recommend her and her staff. Don't mind the long wait for an appointment or the longer wait the day of. That's just how it is, she's always overbooked, but you'll get the best care hands down.

It's hard to find someone who even has the time to listen meaningfully. Dr. Scanlon makes the time.

I have been going to Dr. Scanlon for years. She has seen me thru cancer, and many other things. She explains everything to you and treats you like your the only patient and not rush you thru. I moved to NC and though about driving down once a year to see her that is how much I liked her. But realize i need someone up her. she is the best I will miss her so much. Just be patient with the office staff. I take that time to read.

Whatever my illness or problem, she always has a solution, and she is thorough and caring...A real gem. I love her!
