List of Leonard Gitter's Reviews
Clear explanations of my test results and likely cause of a few out of bounds results and some suggestions. Very reassuring. Nice person, great bedside manner.
Very personable, caring, and an oncology expert who can really help you as He already has and will continue helping me
After my radiation had ended, I was assigned to Doctor Leonard Gitter. I found him to be very professional, and very thorough throughout the examination.
A doctor with a true caring nature. Listens well and I feel genuinely cares about his patients. Saw him first in the hospital and then followed up in the office. I would recommend him to anyone.
Great listener and “team player” with treatment plan. Very grateful for my new doc!
Caring, compassionate and very knowledgeable! Highly recommended!!
Compassionate, empathetic, well spoken gentleman.

Dr Gitter was my sons doctor. He left Geisinger without saying anything. We thought we had a good relationship with him but obviously his patients aren’t a priority. I understand career opertunities but it was very unprofessional how he handled his situation. We found out from another patient. Cancer is back and we need a new oncologist. Best wishes Gitter.
Dr. Gitter was compassionate and professional. He called me even on the weekend to get back to me about my side effects. My stage 4 lung cancer is in remission for the last 6 months. He's the best doctor I've ever had.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
