My husband and I have had Dr Alvarado as our doctor for years and hope to have him forever! He has great bedside manner, and is always interested in how we’re doing! He is knowledgeable about our “conditions” and spends as much time as we need to help us understand our lab work and health issues. If you’re looking for a good, caring doctor, Dr Alvarado is your man!

I found Dr Alvarado to be thorough and competent. He listened to everything I had to say and seemed interested. A rarity these days. He spent quality time with me and I didn’t feel rushed. It is nice to know that you can actually communicate with your doctor. He actually smiled and was very pleasant and I felt comfortable talking to him.

Because of a thyroid condition Dr. Alvarado has mandated that I need blood work every 3 months. Dr. Alvarado insists I see him each time blood is drawn even if the results are perfect, he has nothing to say or do, and I have no other problems. This is costly and inconvenient especially since he doesn't practice internal medicine. At other times when I have had a potential serious problem, he has refused to set an appointment to see me, complaining that it, 'he is not concerned at all."His nurse tells me, "go to urgent care."
