List of Abraham Butz's Reviews
Dr. Butz was so extremely kind when I had to go to Lakeland Regional Health. He answered all of my questions and I felt very cared for. I would recommend him to anyone who needs to be seen in the emergency room.
Went to emergency at LRH for a skin rash and sore swollen throat. Hard to swallow and trouble breathing. Dr. Butz came in the room saw my skin rash and said it was an allergic reaction and to go see an allergist. Dr. Butz told me he would give me a prescription and use Benadryl for the itchy but it did not itch. Dr. Butz did not come within 5 feet of me and never even looked at my throat that I said was sore and swollen. Dr. Butz left and the nurse came in and gave me my discharge papers within a few minutes. I went to an allergic the next day and learned I had strep throat and not an allergic reaction to anything. Dr. Butz failed to even look at my throat or do any kind of examination. Dr. Butz sent me home to my family with contagious strep throat. I then received a bill from the hospital for $800 and a doctor bill for $700 for hospital emergency room visit and exam. Dr. Butz did not do an exam, he did not even come within several feet of me but I got a bill that the hospital refused to do anything with. I can accept a misdiagnosis if he at least did an exam but to not even do an exam how can you charge for an exam?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
