Not a huge fan of Dr. Tavares but his ARNP's and NP's are awesome. They listen and really seem to want to take care of you. Dr. Tavares is alright but he's quiet and doesn't explain much. Just smiles a lot which is oddly creepy. And I have to say, the young girls that follow him into every appointment, with a computer, typing every word you both say, by hand, feels extremely creepy. I don't think he can legally record the appointments with sound. So, it's like these girls are a way to get around that and type everything you both say. It's weird and I've never had that experience with any other doctor.

He Cares. He Listens. He includes me in developing protocols. His medical knowledge is encyclopedic, but he doesn't, in any way, discount what his patient knows: He says, and lives by the philosophy, "You know you better than anyone knows you. He gives his patients a lot of time. Needless to say he is a best practices kind of Doctor. His Nurse Practioners, Medical Assistants, Nurses, and his whole staff imulate his professionalism and patient centered ways of serving his patients.

Been my Dr. for many years now and I am very happy....He helped me a lot over the years and I can't thank him enough. Always listens and genuinely cares. Lucky find. Thanks Doc!!! Update, If you're lucky enough to already know Dr. Tavares, you don't need to read this. However if you're not a client yet, you are a lucky person to have found him! He's God's gift to us all.

Dr. Tavares is my PCP and he is awesome. He has helped me a lot, he's compassionate, a great listener and full of wisdom and insight. He is kind and truly cares about his patients. He's willing to try out of the box methods to help me. He is well-versed and highly knowledgeable about many medical issues, including mental health. I recently faced a challenging medical issue and Dr. Tavares helped me every step of the way. I really felt cared for and taken seriously. I am lucky to have such a talented and caring physician. I highly recommend Dr. Tavares! 👍

I moved to Florida in 2003 and "Dr. T", as I call him, is the best Doctor I have ever had. He is personable, informative and really wants to keep you in excellent health. His in depth knowledge allows him to get to the bottom of any health issues you may have. He has a great support staff too!
