Allison Palumbo's Online Review Report Card

Uncaring. Does not follow up. Does not like to answer questions. Does not have the experience she claims. Wouldn't let her neuter my cat, much less lay a hand on me.

I found Dr, Palumbo to be uncaring and unfeeling. After a surgical procedure, during which anesthesia was improperly administered and caused permanent damage, I had questions that, more than a year later, have still not been addressed by the doctor. And the surgical procedure has since had to be reversed due to insufficient anchoring. In addition, she misread an MRI — she wasn’t the only one — which lead her to call for radical treatment, and me to call for a second opinion. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Allison Palumbo to anyone for any reason. To those that received good treatment from her, consider yourselves fortunate. There are many, many more who did not.

Uncaring. No follow up. Does not like her recommendations to be questioned. Has no problem answering a question with a falsehood. Four words — get a second opinion.

Dr.Palumbo is the most professional and down to earth surgeon I have ever met. Dr. Palumbo truly cares about her patients. Having a good rapport/relationship with her patients is something that she values, as well as her patients. I feel confident that I can trust Dr.Palumbo with performing any and all surgeries within her scope of practice and if a medical issue arises that is not within her scope of practice I feel confident with her referrals as well. Patient provider relation is important and is often not established and undervalued in the medical environment today. Knowing that Dr.Palumbo truly cares about me as a human is reflected in her patient care over all. Some of the other comments/reviews reflect poorly on the hospital/office scheduling coordinators, not on Dr.Palumbo as a surgeon.

Doctor Palumbo is a highly skilled surgeon and treats her patients with great respect. There is no one that I would trust more with a breast cancer issue than her. Other doctors often comment on how much better her patients recover after surgery compared to most surgeons. The other negative comments on here pertain to things that have nothing to do with her.

Dr. Palumbo treated my Mom recently, and everything was wonderful. She is kind and compassionate and takes the time to explain everything to you. It has been a rough past few months after my mom received a cancer diagnosis, but I had complete trust in Dr. Palumbo when she performed my Mom's surgery. She kept me updated and informed after my Mom's surgery and even called me the next morning after she checked in to give me an update and to ask if I had any further questions. All follow ups have gone great as well. Highly recommend.

Dr. Palumbo is kind and compassionate. She takes the time to explain everything to you and to answer any questions you may have. She operated on my Mom 3 times recently and I can't say enough great things about her. Highly recommended.

I have an outpatient surgery with Dr. Palumbo a week ago and am very very satisfied with her skills and the result. Don't expect a lot of small talk. Dr. Palumbo is all business. But you can expect outstanding results.

This surgeon is a top notch clinician. Her surgical technique is 2nd to none! Her outcomes are far above average. Sometimes wait times are slong because so many people want to see her. Complaints about wait times have to do with the scheduling office NOT DR. Palumbo!
