21 years old had open heart surgery done for a unicuspid leaky valve , he did great an he’s very open to hearing any concerns as to I was very nervous and didint know which valve to choose. Great team they helped me a lot through this

i marianna walters had a procedure by dr.andres medina six years ago, it was done by robot procedure called tavr or aortic heart valve replacement. i am proud to say everything is going very well health- wise. just wanted to thank dr. medina for giving me new life, so glad to find sure a caring doctor at LRMC.

Dr. Medina was the first doctor in over 10 years of dealing with my condition to speak the words, "I believe you" in reference to the symptoms and pain that I have. He had knowledge about my condition, and admitted that he's never done the surgery on it in his career, so he was referring me to another specialist who he knew had the experience. He showed me my CT scans and explained everything as he was showing it to me. He's very kind, and I wish all doctors were as amazing as he is.

A few weeks ago I felt a sharp pain in my leg that was beyond anything I had ever felt. Little did I know I had a massive blood clot that threatened to steal my leg from me. I only live 10 minutes from LRMC and by the time I called 911 it was 12 minutes to my destination. Dr Medina was so determined to save my leg that I am told he used heroic measures to remove that clot. He reached right in that leg and pulled that clot out. I feel so blessed that he was there that day. His humility is amazing because he is a gift from God. Thank you, Dr. Medina. You’re my hero.
