Dedicated Senior Medical Center's Online Review Report Card

My issues are with the front desk , I call to make an appointment they put me on hold and never come back. Checking out they are all on the phone or clicking on their computer and let you just stand there. I am suppose to be able to talk to my doctors staff but they won't put me through. I love Dr. Morales but the front desk needs revamping.

Poor communications failure to get back with their patients in a timely manner. patients should not have to call several times a week concerning an important matter in regards to life events. this facility doesn't know if it's coming or going on its communication scale it needs a lot of work.

A serious event had developed and they upped my seeing a doctor that very day. The care and effort made to treat me and even getting some screening procedures done that same day was excellent. Everyone was very professional and courteous along with making sure I was okay and able to get home safely. However, I feel there is a downside in regards to communications. I truly understand special circumstances can delay things but I feel that it has been of late a case of musical phone calls and a back-and-froths with no results. Personal life events have been stressful lately not being able to make plans or try to make something out of the day because of the anxiety of waiting for a phone call that never gets returned and sometimes for days.

I would rate a 0 if I could. I take my grandparents to their appointments and they are the worst as a whole there are a few people that are fantastic but this place is terrible. We once had gotten a call because my grandmothers hemoglobin was low and they said it was an emergency so i drove them over there and they had us waiting for 3 HOURS. Apparently not as big of an emergency even though I took her to the hospital after that appointment.She also has knee problems and tried to get a referral for at least 4 months. It was ridiculous and she was in terrible pain could barely walk.Another time we had to get her x-rayed and we couldn't get her there at the time so we rescheduled and turns out they didn't reschedule it and when we went in for a check up the doctor yelled at me after I had called them before the appointment about it. The doctor proceeded to tell me that the "front desk knows nothing." After that the scheduled it right after that appointment so we left to go to that appointment and they didn't even have the referral sent.This is the most uncoordinated place I have ever been to and am so upset that they think they're so great when they are in fact not.

I disagree with the negative reviews of Dedicated Senior Medical Center. I’ve been going there as a patient for a year and I can honestly say, that I have never had a single problem with anything or anyone! In fact, I even have a cell number for my doctor in case I have any medical emergencies, and I can walk in any time with a problem rather than the Emergency Room. Of all the doctors and medical facilities I’ve been to in my 70 years, Dedicated is the best in every way. I have had 15 surgeries in my life, so you know I’ve been seen by hundreds of doctors & facilities, and I can honestly say that I trust everyone, my doctors, nurses, assistants, clerical staff, etc., at Dedicated Senior Medical Center in South Lakeland. Every employee there is very professional and always ready to help with anything that comes up. The facility is immaculate, especially through the COVID situation, and I always look forward to my appointments. With my sincere feelings about Dedicated, I can honestly recommend them to anyone in need of wonderful care.Happy Holidays & be safe! Deborah Murrell Boyce

It's wonderful that you go to a center that cater and help with your health needs as an elderly person. They have trained their staff very well on patience and understanding with hearing impaired and disabled patients need a little extra. I love all the staff there they're wonderful their respect for their not condescending or impatient. My doctor is awesome I wish I had her years and years ago
