Gerard Hubbell's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Hubbell is the best eye doctor I have ever found. He has more than half a dozen advanced degrees with dozens of awards lining his walls. Many people want everything for free, so they are better off at the cheap commercial places where you get no expertise. Wake up people, do you really think an expert doctor would practice at Walmart or cheap commercial places? You're just crazy and cheap. I see Dr. Hubbell just won another award...THE BEST OF THE BEST, PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD. Congratulations, Dr. Hubbell...well deserved. Everyone I know comes to Dr. Hubbell and is amazed with the care they receive. He does a full medical eye exam for your health, even taking photos of the retina. No other eye doctors do that. He is not there for the money, but sometimes it is necessary to recheck your eyes, more often, as we age. That is for the patient's protection. Last year, due to a lot of health problems, I had 2 additional eye exams, with photos. I certainly did not expect Dr. Hubbell to see me for free. How stupid. I love the Hubbell Eye Clinic and particularly, Dr. Hubbell, who is looking out for my health. He has also been given awards by 2 Presidents, Clinton and Bush, at the White House, won the Golden Garland Award in Medicine, A member of Polk County School's Hall of Fame and on and on. He is simply the very BEST. Thank you, Dr. Hubbell and Congratulations on all your well deserved awards. After more than 30 years as a patient, including my family of 42 members and all my friends, we know who is the true best doctor.

After mistakenly listening to what the doctor said about using up my current prescription for my contacts before refilling, they now want me to pay $115 for ANOTHER eye exam in order to get my prescription. Try Dr. Bock at Mulberry Walmart. Better service, better doctor, better communication. I will NEVER do business with Hubbell again. If your smart, you wont either. If you have need between checkups you are out of luck without shelling out some $$.

Dr. Hubbell is the best! I have tried over a dozen Dr.s in my adult life, but no one is equal to the task. By far the "best" in our area and from several other states presiously residing. "Highly recommend."

Great Doctor very helpful and informed. Took plenty of time explaining my options. Also very punctual.

Dr. Hubbell is a VSP doctor,which is the insurance my husband and I have.I needed an optometrist in the area as I wear contacts; we moved from up north last year and I had to find someone in this area. I could not be more pleased with the staff or the doc; he was kind,funny and personable.He explained everything to me,which was great. I highly recommend seeing him if you have to find someone in the VSP network. Lenses are ordered and ship in just a day; it took forever up north.

My whole experience with Dr. Hubbell was both relaxing and enjoyable. His personable manner and his knowledge to any question I ask are always answered, and he always recommends what is need. His staff is very good with scheduling and even the knowledge of the products, making the eyeglass and contact choosing experiance fun! I have been a loyal customer for many years and even travel far from where his office is becuase of how excellent his services are. I highly recommend him.

The three traits I look for in doctors are professionalism, caring, and gentle. Most doctors lack at least one of these traits. But, I would give Dr. Hubbell a 10 out of 10 for each.

Dr. Hubbell is one of the most professional doctors I've ever encountered. He's courteous, compassionate, and extremely knowledgable, and his staff is also as professional and helpful as can be. I've never been kept waiting, and the exams are thorough. I just got some new glasses, and the staff worked with me to get the perfect frames for my face, making sure I got them in a timely manner. I've gotten tons of compliments on these frames and just love them. The staff also encouraged me and told me what to expect with progressive lenses which were new to me. I've been a patient of Dr. Hubbell's for years, and I can't say enough good things about him. If you're looking for a great eye doctor, look no further. He's THE BEST! He's a doctor you can trust. I certainly do! As a matter of fact, I still go to him even though I moved over three hours away. To put it simply, Dr. Hubbell and the Hubbell Eye Clinic are top drawer! My husband loves him, too!

Dr. Hubbell is just great. Very nice guy and he has a very nice staff. After messing around with two other doctors with my eye problems and getting "good enough" vision, he had me fixed literally in about a half hour and I was seeing 20/20 for the first time in years. He diagnosed the problem, got the corrective measures taken and I was in & out. I was shocked at how good he was. I've since referred my family there and they have glowing reviews of him too.

Dr. Hubbell is THE MAN. He is the cream of the crop. I would recommend anyone going to him for any problem. He is extremely courteous, a great diagnostician and he listens! I cannot say enough about his qualifications and his ability to actually solve problems. I would recommend anyone to go to him. He will be the only optometrist that I ever recommend. He is top notch. His clinic is very professional, rates are reasonable and his staff is so helpful, nice and competant. In my opinion, no one does it better.
