List of MIchael B. Akkashian's Reviews
Dr. Akkashion was very thorough in his diagnosing of my medical problem. It was through this thoroughness that a much more serious, underlying medical condition was finally found. I could not be any more confident in his quality care.
8/18/2015 my mother took me to LMRC re sudden onset flu-like symptoms, and paralysis of my legs. I have hx of R.A., Fibromyalgia, Degenerative Disc Disease, Facet joint disease, and many other heath issues. Due to my rx meds, he decided I was 'med seeking' and discharged me, diagnosis: vomiting. 2 days later I was admitted for poss viral meningitis w/stroke symptoms. 2 weeks in hospital, no diagnosis. I have permanent damage to the part of my brain that controls balance, and short term memory.
So rude!!! I have never been to the ER so I asked a few questions and he seemed annoyed with me. My mom asked him a question and I was disgusted with how rude his response was to her. My primary doctor sent me to the ER because I was having some issues with my stomach and he wanted to make sure my appendix wasn't bursting inside of me. Dr. Akkashian acted like he could care less... I don't want a hug and kiss but at least be kind to your patients.
WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IN ALL SUBJECTS IF I COULD. BEDSIDE MANNERS, ATTENTIVENESS, TIMELINESS, ACCURACY IN DIAGNOSIS, AND ANY EXPLANATIONS WERE ALL NON EXISTENT. HE SHOULD FIND DIFFERENT PROFESSION!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
