List of Aldrich Martin's Reviews
The doctor is always late and you wait 40 minutes usually at least just to see him. His clinic opens at 9 and you will see him stroll in at 9:25 with his dog when patients are waiting. Do not go here. He is always rushing around.
Dr. Aldrich was called when I was in ER with a heart attack. He said I needed a heart cath the next day. I had questions but he said he had to go and never came back. Same thing the next day before my procedure. I am a transplant patient and he did not get my transplant experts on board until my wife and I insisted. Due to Covid my wife was not able to be at the hospital. He did not call her after procedure as he promised. I was too sedated to tell her much. This is not acceptable! He is run in, run out. Nice enough but it absolutely NOT thorough. He practices medicine like a robot and cannot think outside the box. We fired him.
Martin Aldrich does not communicate with patients. I was in the emergency room with a suspected heart attack. He came by my cubicle in ER hours after my echo and said I had a mild heart attack and he was going to do a heart cath later. I wanted to ask questions but he cut me off and said he come back later to tell me more. He did not come back. I was admitted to the hospital after 29 hours in the ER. Still no Aldrich. The next morning (Day 2) nurse told me I was having a heart cath the next day (Day 3). Still no Aldrich. Still no more information. I asked nurses and finally the Director of my floor for him to come speak to me before the heart cath. Through the Director, I was told she called him but that he said he'd talk to me in cath lab. I am a kidney transplant patient and had requested through the Director and nurses that I needed a nephrologist onboard my case and for Aldrich to be aware that I went code blue from contrast dye in the past. I was desperate to make sure my kidney would make it through another contrast dye episode. Aldrich would not come to explain my condition and hear my concern for my transplanted kidney. It was confirmed to me that Aldrich had not consulted with the nephrologist The cath was postponed via the Director and she requested Aldrich come to my room. He did so finally and stated that he would consult with the nephrologist about my dye reaction and how to manage my transplanted kidney during the heart cath. Heart cath finally done on DAY 4!!!! He did not call my wife as promised after the cath. Our phone records prove it. This physician practices rote medicine and cannot think outside the box. He cannot remember patient information information. He says he is busy. Not an excuse!!!!
Always waiting 30-40 minutes before I even get into a waiting room. They do not respect your time. Dr A is very nice though.

I think if more Cardiovascular Doctors were like Dr Aldrich, we have a better world? I live on east coast of Florida, and Heart Doctors literally suck? I have angina, none of them know about it or want to learn, saying u is ya not my expertise? Thank god I could Dr Aldrich I have been seeing him for several years now. and if I could get there more often our lived on west coast I see him more often? But coming 156 miles each way, is ruff since my husband had bad stroke and can’t drive, and I ‘m great sriver but just can not drive anymore on I-4 to 75 cause people in Florida do not know how to drive and darn snowbirds over on west coast should not be allowed to drive in Florida? Their hazard to roads? They should stay home , where ever they live? Hate going over their from Dec they May. Otherwise it’s ok?
Agree with negative reviews. He seems cold, more interested in the computer, little eye contact, doesn’t like to be questioned, I think fears lawsuit, not impressed with medical staff either. Careless with diagnosis.
Dr. Aldrich is the best cardiologist I have ever had and I had a lot over a period of 20 years. He is very efficient and takes extra steps to make sure everything is ok. I never feel rushed and he listens to me about my concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Aldrich !!
My mother is a patient of Dr Aldrich. I attend all her appointments, because she gets very anxious, and just doesn’t like wearing her hearing aid. In my opinion the doctor and his team are thorough and demonstrative. I would highly recommend them.
Waited over an hour in the exam room and when he came in he sat at the computer talking to himself then told me to take a baby aspirin a day. Only when I asked why did he curtly tell me I had a congenital heart defect and said see you in a year. I asked for my echo report so I could research myself what was going on.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
