Arun Khazanchi's Online Review Report Card

On 06-12-2023 I went to the Center for Endoscopy, in Sarasota Florida, for a Upper GI Endoscopy and a Colonoscopy. I wish to express my gratitude and satisfaction to Dr Arun Khazanchi and the staff both in his office and at the Center for Endascopy.

Dr. Khazanchi and The Center for Endoscopy in Sarasota were fantastic - Caring, friendly, professional and efficient. I'm so glad I received my referral for my colonoscopy here. The preps didn't even seem as bad.

Dr Khazanchi is the best and his staff is excellent. Amanda Lee is so caring and great. I have been going to Dr. Khazanchi for many years and he has helped me with my medical issues. He is the only doctor I would consider going to for colonoscopy. He has good humor and makes you feel at ease during the uncomfortable procedure.

This doctor's staff runs like a well lubed machine.

Really good experience, the staff are really nice and good and Dr.Khazanchi is really good always taking good care of his patients.

I was apparently “treated” by this doctor during a 2 night hospital stay, although I never saw him a single time and was never given any testing or procedures by his team. I did speak with a “representative” for about 5 minutes but the testing she mentioned was not ultimately needed. When I received a bill in March of this year, I called the office multiple times to request a break down of the cost as surely I don’t owe $250 for a 5 minute conversation with a “representative”. I never heard back. I called on almost a weekly basis, emailed, and submitted a request on the better business bureau as I genuinely wanted a breakdown of this bill (as I have about $150K in hospital bills due to this 2 night stay). I mentioned in my voicemails, emails, and BBB review that I had no issues paying this bill but I needed a breakdown of the cost. A few weeks later, I received a letter in the mail “firing” me as a patient. This was distasteful to begin with but I moved on assuming that this was their way of “writing me off”. Fast forward to December of this year (9 months later) where I haven’t had a single call, email, or piece of mail from this office, I received a collections notice. All over $250. It’s absurd that patients are treated this way when ALL I requested was an actual breakdown or some form of actual invoice for the charges. I will be paying this to avoid it going on my credit, so they have “won” this time (as I’m sure they have probably done to hundreds of people) but this is truly a gross way to treat people as a medical provider. I’ll never go to FLDHS and will never recommend them.
