I recently underwent robotic hernia repair surgery. Dr. Dexter and Alexa Kinder and their team were outstanding. Pre-surgical visits were excellently handled. Everything about the procedure was described in detail and my questions were all answered. The procedure itself went flawlessly and I was very comfortably able to more or less do my regular routine within about 2 days. The care and concern shown by Dr. Dexter and his team and staff was, in my opinion, truly a model to be followed by all medical personnel. I will most certainly engage them again wherever I might need surgery and would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dexter, his employees, and his practice as a whole. From the first consultation to the final details (and beyond), their care and attention to every question, need, and concern we had were unparalleled. Dr. Dexter is so caring and his work is beyond impeccable. From the very start, he was so patient and knowledgeable. He kept us fully informed and at complete ease throughout the entire process. Anyone needing surgery couldn't possibly be in better hands than his. Chelsey is such a pleasant and amazing woman who addressed every single question and request we had from scheduling, questions about recuperation, and even down to helping us with paperwork. Thank you for always responding immediately, being so efficient, and being such a huge help to us, Chelsey!! If you're needing surgery please look no further, and book a consultation with Dr. Dexter and his crew. I promise you will not be sorry! Thank you so much for everything, guys. My husband has never felt better after the care you all gave him.

At 77, I've only seen doctors for routine issues, flu, dermatologist issues, physicals. I've been very fortunate. Yesterday's appointment with Dr. Dexter was major huge for me. Stephen at the front desk picked up on my anxiety and immediately put me at ease. Once in the interrogation room, (smile), the student PA was very compassionate and understanding. The amazing PA that examined me, ( no easy task), was the best listener ever, as I got off topic many times...so nervous. So much empathy from her! Names escape me, so sorry! Enter Dr. Dexter. He was in no rush. He explained everything about hernias and was totally open to answering my questions. The process I'll be going through was laid out step by step. Leaving the office, my anxiety level was zero. What a great experience. Thank you all!

Dr. Dexter did a hernia surgery 8 years ago in Pennsylvania and recently did the other side here in Florida. He did a great job both times.

Lakewood Ranch general surgery is definitely the place to go. They are very personable and willing to help you with all your needs. They are always able to fit me in when I need them and they go above-and-beyond for their patients! Dr. Dexter and Alexa Kinder, PA are very dexterous and have helped me tremendously.

Dr. Dexter and his staff are great. I have very little medical history and was very nervous about having the procedure done. Their team made it less stressful from explaining what was going to happen to completing the procedure. Thank you for everything you guys do.
