List of Florida Digestive Health Specialists's Reviews
My experience with the office did not start out great. I scheduled an appointment around February for late March (my choice to go out that far) and unfortunately got caught up at work the day of. I realized at 9:15 I was supposed to have been at the office at 9:00am (totally my fault!). I immediately called and spoke with someone explained I got caught up and they were very nice and helpful and got my appointment rescheduled. Within 2 weeks I received a bill for a no show fee for the missed appointment. Now full disclosure I work for a doctors office so I am very aware of how no shows affect the flow of the day, however I was a new patient and had never been informed of their policy on missed appointments/same day cancels/reschedules nor did anyone on the phone inform me of a charge. It was very difficult to get in touch with someone to discuss the charge. I did get it remedied and went to my rescheduled appointment. The provider was nice but I felt extremely pressured to schedule two procedures that would require Anesthesia despite me repeatedly saying I really wanted to follow up with my hematologist before doing so. My visit was April 19th and since my visit I have received multiple texts, emails and phone calls (including one just yesterday) to review my visit or leave feedback. The multiple attempts feel so pushy and obnoxious. Our office sends out one form of communication once, maybe twice. Pressuring patients for feedback is a way to get negative feedback not positive. If I need to follow up with GI again I can't honestly say I will stick with this office. The front office staff was very nice and my wait time was minimal so that was a plus.
Staff never called in medication for a procedure. Staff also didn’t return 6 of my voicemails reaching out to get that prescription called in. At follow up appointment I waited in waiting room for 45 minutes only to give up and leave. I don’t feel like this staff values their patients time at all. I do not recommend going here.
Dr. Matheus is the best! I have so far only had a consultation for my colonoscopy, but that visit was great. The office staff is friendly and very helpful. Dr. Matheus spent time answering all my questions patiently and fully. I feel very comfortable having her perform my upcoming procedure.
My experience with my endoscopy with Dr Mishra was good as far as the procedure. Everything else has been leaving me looking for another GI doctor. I’ve had appts with doctors Mishra, Andari and Matheus because Dr Mishra was out on maternity leave after my endo and the office scheduled the follow-up appts with these 2 different doctors. On the day of my first follow-up the office called me telling me they didn’t know why I had an appt later today. I explained and they were still confused. They wanted me to wait until the following week and just see 1 doctor, but waiting to see if I had cancer another week was not what I wanted to do. They told me they didn’t have my results of my capsule endoscopy, I explained my next appt was for that, this appt was for the endo I had the week prior. Took a while, still said they couldn’t see my results. Dr M got on the phone eventually and then said my results were there and gave me a 3 second review. I was rushed off the phone with some of my questions answered and no direction. The next week, I had an appt with Dr Andari hoping to get more answers. That appt was basically him telling me that I should be glad it’s nothing serious, but when I asked more questions about the severe bloating I'm experiencing he said just to keep doing the diet changes I put into place and wait a few months, but that the rest is good news and not to focus on the bloating. What?! This is abnormal for me and I shouldn’t focus on it? After my endo, Dr Mishra barely explained what she saw and was more rushed and trying to leave. The first time she tried to explain my results was while I was in the recovery, knocked out and I didn’t even remember the conversation. The staff told me she had been by to talk to me, but I was out of it. I’m disappointed with the level of care and lack of time spent to try to diagnose what’s going on. I would not recommend any 3 of these doctors, from my experience, and the comments about the office not answering the phone are accurate.
The front desk staff is horrible. They would rather argue with you than take care of you. They changed appointment and didn't call me. I'll find another doctor, I won't be going to this place!!!
The doctors, nurses and staff are wonderful when I can get a hold of them. The issue is that it takes 4-5 calls before getting a response. The lack of timely response is very discouraging especially when a person is not feeling well.
My visit was quick, effective, and pleasant.
Easily got an appointment. Staff was pleasant and courteous. Dr. Andari listened to my concerns, and made a plan for further study.
Dr. Khazanchi is the BEST! He is always attentive to my needs and explains things in a way I can understand. He is very personable and I really like him. He is so kind and gentle and I am so glad he is my doctor.
Dr Andari is one of those "special" doctors that listens and cares. Would highly recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
