List of Harvey Mishner's Reviews
My physician is a very nice and caring Dr! I try to listen and take his advice! I would recommend Dr. Mishner to anyone!!
Avoid this doctor at all cost unless you like to be yelled at. He is totally unprofessional. Should be barred from practicing medicine. Friends who have tried him have had the same experience.
Dr Mishner is the best.
Did not have to wait for Doctor.
Great office, and staff. Doctor is very knowledgeable.
I continue to be both pleased and impressed by Dr. Mishner and staff.
great doc
Every time I come in, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Mischner always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and offer suggestions to improve my overall health.
I have had nothing but issues with this office. First of all the initial appointment lasts about 5 minutes and is considered the appointment to establish you as a new patient. Make sure to ask how much that appointment costs. Second, make sure you ask for your bill after each appointment. When I questioned my out of pocket amount, they looked at my bill but it took three people to try to give me an answer. The had me billed out for a “smoker consultation” and a “Medicaid Consultation”. I don’t smoke and did not indicate that I smoke and I am not old enough to be on Medicaid. It took me 6 months, multiple collection calls, and multiple times of telling them I wasn’t paying for those services before they were removed. How many people allow Dr’s offices to bill our whatever they want to our insurance companies. How often do we just pay our out of pocket because we trust what the office tells us? Finally, I missed my last appointment because I was sick and could not get out of bed. I have been to the office and had multiple appointments and tests over the last year, so it isn’t like I have not been in for appointments. I just missed my last appointment. When I called to have my blood pressure medication refilled prior to the hurricane that is on the way, they told me that they would not refill my prescription because I missed my last appointment. I would stay far away from this practice. ::EDIT TO THE RESPONSE:: There is no need to call and discuss this further. We have had multiple conversations. Yes, the issue was addressed and talked about after an argument at the front desk in the open lobby with the office manager. It was then taken into a consultation room by a nurse to try to explain the “billing error”. I was there for an appointment which was not completed because they would not see me after spending an hour to try to explain the billing. So I took time off work for an appointment that then had to be rescheduled. The billing was NOT resolved as I had to then have this conversation multiple more times with someone from billing and even a collection agent. Let me remind you that they billed me for a smokers consultation and a Medicaid consultation. I am not at Medicaid age and I do not smoke. The charge for the initial consultation which included less than 5 minutes with the Dr. is exorbitant as well. It appears that this office has figured out what the limits they can push with insurance billing. Unfortunately for plans that patients pay higher deductibles, that spills over to more out of pocket. I’m no expert in insurance but it would seem to me that this would contribute to rising premiums as well. The last appointment that I had scheduled was missed because I was sick and in bed for 2 days with the flu. I was billed for that appointment. I didn’t get to charge the office for my time for the appointment that they cancelled while I was trying to straighten out my billing. I didn’t say anything about the charge for the missed appointment. The problem that I have is that when I called to get a prescription refilled when everyone was planning for the potential hurricane Dorian, they would not refill my BP prescription that I have been on for years due to having missed my last appointment. I made it to at least 3 appointments in the last year. Seems pretty petty and unprofessional. Of course I didn’t have time to get into another Dr to be seen before the arrival of a potential storm. Fortunately the storm didn’t come but now I have to start all over with another Dr.
I have been seeing Dr. Mishner for years now, he has been an excellent physician throughout this time. Office staff has always been extremely helpful. Highly recommend this practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
