List of Jose Briceno's Reviews
Dr. Briceno is an incredibly friendly and intelligent doctor. I feel like he really tries to listen to his patients. He is able to relate to the Latino population on a very personal level and that is very much appreciated! Would highly recommend!
My first time consulting with Dr. Briceno was very pleasant. He was very helpful to my condition and was very friendly. I would recommend him to my friends and family.
Dr. Briseno is not personable, he was abrupt and I would not recommend him.
If Dr Briceno is an urgent care physician, why did he bill my insurance as if he were my PCP and I was a "new patient" when I saw him at the Sarasota Memorial Urgent Care, and under Medicare when I have private insurance not Medicare so my insurance rejected his claim because he's not my PCP when had he billed it as an urgent care visit, it would have been covered. His billing company refused to re-bill my insurance as an urgent care visit. I was visiting the area from another county, and have met my OOP but am being told I owe him $200 for a nebulizer treatment and a shot of steroids at an urgent care clinic affiliated with Sarasota Memorial Hosp. This is a billing and coding problem and I shouldn't have to pay for and certainly not related to Medicare since I don't have Medicare. I've reported this to my congressional Rep, and the state insurance commissioner.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
