Windsor Reflections Memory Care Of Lakewood Ranch's Online Review Report Card

Unfortunately I have had experience with 2 other memory care facilities and this is the best by far. The facility is sparkling clean. The entire staff that we have had contact with is friendly , caring and very professional! I cannot recommend or say more about how good the care is at Winsor!

My wife developed "Early Onset Alzheimer's" and has been a client since Nov. 1 of 2015.Compared to the other facility she stayed at (briefly) - Windsor Reflections was a better option. The building is freshly remodeled, it’s a convenient location and it's secure.I cannot speak as to how "expensive or inexpensive" it may be compared to others in the area. But then again - ANYTHING connected to the "medical" industry is more expensive than it should be... so...I gave Windsor Reflections 4 Stars because my wife seemed to be happy there (2016-2018)... and really, what else matters?Note: I had initially given Windsor 5 stars in 2017 ... but lately, I am beginning to wonder. The cleanliness is still there... but I think they may be experiencing staffing issues (7/2018).Note:2: Moved wife out as care level declined rapidly (4/2019) and as soon as she was moved to The Pines (also in SRQ) she showed improvement. Disappointing. Three stars for the good times ... but that was in the past.A care facility is only as good as the staff it has hired to help the clients. If a staff doesn’t really care ABOUT your loved one, how can they care FOR your loved one?

The whole staff made our mom’s transition to the memory care as seamless as possible. Everyone great there! We are so happy she’s in a warm, caring environment.

I have toured this amazing memory care community and have referred them many times to our clients! The community is not only beautiful but designed to fit the needs and interaction of memory care residents perfectly!

My father in law has been at Windsor Reflections for 2 years now. The facilities are lovely. My wife is extremely pleased with the care he is receiving. Everyone from the sweet lady who cleans the rooms, the kind resident assistants, the supervisors, receptionists and other staff members are all cheerful and kind. The activities director is great. So many appropriate activities are scheduled every day including visits from musicians and children’s groups for various events. I think my father in law’s favorite activities are the art sessions , visits from puppies and the outside walks. The chef also deserves special mention for all the great meals he prepares including a monthly family night when all the residents‘ families are invited to attend a dinner with their loved one. The Director is extremely attentive to the needs of the residents and their families. We highly recommend this facility.

My wifes dad loves it here. Excellent care , friendly staff , very clean , they really make you feel at home. 10/10 , highly recommended.

Their staff was fantastically helpful even before we selected them. They have done everything they said they would and have quickly responded to any questions or concerns. The decline for our family member had been steep prior to entering Windsor and we were unable to get her to do anything. She has adjusted to the routine and her decline isn't as rapid as before. We're so thankful there is a place like Windsor. They are providing better care than we could at home.

Windsor Reflections has been nothing short of amazing for my mother-in-law. She was in a different facility before coming here last year and the change in her has been incredible, both physically and mentally. The staff here (every last one of them) make her feel like part of the family. They make me and my husband feel the same way when we visit. Dennis is on top of everything and if we have a question or concern regarding anything he responds immediately. Chris the activities director is a gem. Matt, the manager of the kitchen is outstanding and their jobs don't stop at their title, they pitch in and do whatever is needed. We feel so lucky to have found Windsor Reflections and recommend the place to anyone looking for memory care.

I visited Windsor Reflections as my parents are in need of a wonderful place to live so that we can all be closer together. My first impression was how clean it was upon entering and the beautiful scent of fresh cut flowers. When its time for your family to live with support and care, you wish it to be a place where you have comfort in the crew, the other residents who may live there and the leader of the group. I was greeted with a warm welcome as if I was a VIP. I was offered a tea, coffee or bottled water before our tour. I have visited a couple places and have been a care giver for both Comfort Keepers and staff member at Aegis so I was even more attune to locating a place that I felt comfortable in caring for my family. When you are in the process of searching for a place for your family, you search for the right people who truly do care, will go above and beyond, listen, advise, be attentive to answer any questions, show their empathy and concern for the welfare of your family. I was in awe of how well I saw there staff treating the residents on the tour, and very impressed with how the staff related with each other. The Director Dennis really does have high regard for the residents and crew. His respect for both remind me of how chivalrous the folks in our military are. Strong caring handshake and taking the care of your loved ones very seriously. As I place my family into the trust of others, I want them to do just that. At this point I do not need to keep searching for a place. The only place for my family is with Windsor Reflections.
